Chapter 17

Sage's Pov

I couldn't believe that I would even meet one direction at all, but for two of the boys to fancy me!? This is insane... So surreal. 

I awoke alone in Alicia's bed, she must have gone down to Louis's last night. I yawned and stretched out my arms, when I looked at the time on Alicia's alarm clock I was astounded, it read: 1:30 pm. Wow, had I really slept in that late!? Oh well. I got up out of her bed and lazily walked out to the hallway and to the kitchen, when I had gotten there, I realized something, I was alone. I pulled out my phone from my pj bottoms pocket, '1 NEW MESSAGE' it read. I opened the text and read it quietly out loud to myself;

'Come into the living room' it was from Niall. I looked confusingly at my phone, and before I could start walking towards the living room I could hear his guitar playing a familiar song. I walked over to the living room door pane to see Niall sitting on the couch playing his guitar and looked up at me with hopeful eyes just before he started to sing, 

"Girl, I see it in your eyes, your dissapointment, 'cause I'm the foolish one that you anointed with your heart, I tore it apart."

"And girl, what a mess I've made upon your innocence, and no woman in the world deserves this, but here I am asking you for one more chance."

"Can we fall, one more time? Stop the tape, and rewind. Oh, and if you walk away, I know I'll fade, 'cause there is nobody else, its gotta be you. Only you." 

"Now girl, I hear it in your voice and how it trembles, when you speak to me I don't resemble, who I was. You've almost had enough." 

"And your actions speak louder than words, and your about to break from all you've heard. But don't be scared, I ain't going no where. I'll be here, by your side, no more fears, no more crying."

"But if you walk away, I know I'll fade, 'cause there is nobody else, I't's gotta be you. Only you." 

"Oh girl, can we try one more, one more time, one more, one more, can we try? One more, one more time? I'll make it better. Can we try one more time to make it all better? 'Cause I'ts gotta be you, It's gotta be you,  It's gotta be you, only you, It's gotta be you. Only you"

I swear to god, my heart just melted onto the floor. I looked at him in disbelief, I can't belive Niall James Horan just sang to me, and with such meaning as well. I started to cry out of mixed emotions, Niall put his guitar down on the other side of the couch and when he had gotten up, he held me in his arms. He slowly walked over to the couch with me in his arms and sat down. I buried my face in his chest and wiped my tears away in his shirt. I was about to say something, I'm not sure what, but Niall interrupted me,

"Sage, I was wondering... well, if you would be my girlfriend. I'm sorry about what I did, but please... give me one more chance?" I was so shocked. I literally didn't know what to do. Do I go with Niall who broke me but is asking for forgivness, or for Liam who I may or may not have feelings for...? But  what Niall did was soo cute! My heart was literally throbbing. 

"Yes" I whispered as my heart skipped a beat. Niall bared a huge grin showing his braced teeth, then for the first time, he leaned in and slowly and brushed his lips against mine then slowly he let his tongue explore the inside of my mouth. His ever so plump lips tasted sweet, like sugar, I bit his bottom lip teasingly and he slightly smiled. I released his bottom lip and he rolled over on top of me,

"I love you" he chanted, those 3 simple words meant everything to me.

I said what I had said to boys many times before, but this time I truly meant it:

"I love you, too"
