Burnt Love • A BFB/BFDI Fanfiction (Paused)

Chapter One

It was the day of another contest in BFB, and the contestants had to run an obstacle course. Four and X watched as they ran.
Iance was in last place and The Losers were in first. BEEP was in second.
Leafy tripped and fell onto the dirt. Firey stopped and noticed that she fell and got dirty.

"Are you alright, Leafy?" Firey lended out a hand to help her up.
"I'm fine, thanks!" Leafy smiled as she looked up. "It's no problem.." Firey gazed into her eyes and blushed slightly, but to where Leafy didn't notice. "You should go back to running with your team though," she patted off the dirt that caught onto her. "You guys are gonna win!" "Well.. okay.. bye Leafy!" Firey went back to running. Leafy watched as he left wishing she was on the same team as him. "If only.." she gazed. "If only we weren't so far apart.."

"The Losers win!" X exclaimed before Four announced the other safe teams. BEEP ended up in third place, but still had immunity.
Firey smiled.. it was the first time they got in first place! Loser was complimenting the team and congratulating them as well.
Leafy still looked at Firey like she did when he helped her. I wish we didn't have to fight in these contests.. I just would like to see us all work together! She thought. Then I could help everyone.. even Firey..

Mumbled voices were only what she could hear.. she was too busy staring at Firey..
"Leafy!" A voice finally caught her attention and she stopped dozing off. It was Cloudy! "Hm? What?" Leafy turned around.
"What were you doing?" He asked. "N- nothing, Cloudy!" Leafy blushed a bit but Cloudy didn't notice.
"I was just collecting pebbles." He smiled. "Th- that's nice!" She replied. "Um.. okay.. see you later" Cloudy left.
Leafy sighed.. "Firey would never understand.."

"That I want to be more than friends.."
