Winter break, or as my friends liked to call it "being an emo nerd", was over.
I was just thinking about how I'm going to face my friends after not contacting them the whole break when I heard a voice. A very angry and very loud voice.
"Carmen! You unloyal wench!" She yelled as she marched towards me. The mass of students separating like the red sea.
"Sophia, I don't remember waving a red cloth, why did you still attack me?" I asked as she stopped in front of me, nostrils flaring, hence the comparison.
"Because you have been MIA for the whole break. I can't even begin to tell you how devastated I have been the whole time. It's so unfair to me that I don't get to communicate with my friend who has been locked in her tower away from the world."
she exaggerated."Always the dramatism," I said, rolling my eyes, "and I told you already that I won't be able to talk to you and the others."
"Well, I didn't think you actually meant it." she screeched as we continuously bickered and started walking down the hall towards utter doom that is the beginning of school.
