Some people might think of me as a loser.Freak. But I'm just unique. Well that's what my mother always told me. I arrive at the cafe. I thought she just told me that so I won't keep looking in the mirror thinking what everyone else thought. But she was right I wasn't like anybody else. Its pouring rain. I walk up the stairs unto the almost deserted cafe. I sit in the back to wait for someone to take my order. A waitress comes my way.
"What would you like this fine evening?" I look up to her. They still have the same code.
"Yes it is but I don't have anybody to share this fine evening with and" I look her in the eyes "15 I'll have MY usual as usual" I laugh to myself at my bad joke. She looks at me wide eyed and tries a smile.
"I'll be right back". She hurries away of shock by my code, like every other waitress. I sigh waiting for my order. I look out the window looking at the pouring rain. Then I smell it. The scent I never wanted to smell again. A guy about my age walk towards me with my order. He wore a black jacket with the sleeves cut over a white shirt, a red tie, and black pants. Very causal and professional at the same time.He placed the cup of dark red fluid in front of me and sat the opposite of me. Looking at my cup and holding it to my lips I say
"I only wanted my order". He smiles that fake happy smile. "I'm glad to see you too brother".
