Waking up the next morning after what happened last night felt...different. The apartment was alot quieter than usual and the hallway light wasn't on. I looked at my alarm clock to see what time it may be. 11:45 am, it read. Weird. Alex is usually back from his morning run and making breakfast.

I slump out of my bed with my tinker bell themed dress shirt on, and walked to the attached bathroom. I look up into the mirror and almost screamed when I saw the horror. How could I be this stupid? All I could think about was the incoming pain and suffering I would soon be going through.

I forgot to wrap my hair last night.

This may not seem like a big deal but my hair is naturally full and curly meaning it needs to be tied down to cooperate. I think my hair is into some kinky activities!

"Here goes nothing." Cries of pain and discomfort filled the air as I finally got my hair down into a pigtails. I looked at the trash bin to see all 29 of the combs I have broken this month. After that, I put my shower cap on and took a nice steamy showers. I could almost feel the stress melting away. I used a new body wash that smelt just like my mate's scent. Vanilla and strawberries was a romantic mix and I just can't wait to finally be with him. I just have to take it slow and not tell him I am a rouge for a while.

I wonder if he likes pigtails and knee high socks as much as I do. We are soul mates. Talking of knee high socks, I paired black ones with a pink overall dress and a black bandeau bra. Following my oversized pink hair how headhead, I put on some combat boots. Today was my day off so I was thinking of going to the store to find some decorative pieces for my bland room. Maybe going to BuilMart or Loft Depot to get a few diy materials.

I walked out of the empty apartment and closed the door before calling a cab. I didn't drive. Not because I don't know how to, I just don't feel comfortable with it after what happened. I still miss them. The taxi driver pulled up with a matter of minutes and I told him the destination before I leaned back and texted Alex.

Farah: Hey, I'm leaving the apartment. Where are you at?

Moments passed and I began to get worried. He usually replied instantly. He always told me he hates when people take too long to reply.

Alex: I'm just running. Can you bring back milk?

Farah: Ok yeah.

I shut off my phone screen and looked outside at the city scenery. The people arguing and the tall building with bosses so rich, they can but me within seconds. Not that I am selling or anything. It takes me back to my potential mate. If that was him getting into that sports car, what does he do for a living? That vehicle looks like a Barbie dream car but Ken repainted it.

The car jerked to a stop and I paid then got out and walk into Loft Depot. As soon as I walked in, the sparkles in the third aisle. There were color changing sequin pillows that were a definite must have for me. I picked out two which had inspiration quotes embroidered into them. Then I picked up a standing lamp with a pink shade. Before I knew it, my cart was filled to the brim and I became happy that I saved up most of my paychecks.
