Well now i know why my parents aren't big fans of Skylas parents. I wanted to tell them about the thing that happened at school today, so I decided to go downstairs to tell them. But as I went downstairs I heard their conversation.

Mom-M Dad-D
M: "Justin but listen Skylas a great kid and if Ari dated him I wouldn't mind."
D: "yeah but what if it runs in the family? Selena wasn't an angel either."
M: "come on the kid didn't do anything to us."
D: "So what? What if he hurts our daughter like he hurt you? What if she'll have suicidal thoughts like you did, because she couldn't bare the pain?"
M: "Justin?"
D: "what?"
M: "why are we having thing conversation? They're both 10 years old."
D: "yeah you're right."
What did Skylas dad do to my mom that she was so hurt? "Guys?" I said as I got downstairs. "Oh How long have you been there?" Dad asked. "Long enough." I said as I sat down on like a barstool chair or something. "What did you hear?" My mom asked looking down. "Concluding What I heard, Dad doesn't want me to date Skyla because he is scared that he will treat me like he treated mom." I said. "What exactly happened between you and Skylas dad?" I asked mom. "Well um, he was my boyfriend when I was a teenager. He was a terrible liar let's put that out there and no it not because he lied all the time, it's because he couldn't lie he was so bad at it." She said and giggled. "Sorry Anyway, back to the lying, he would tell me he didn't have time to see me nor say hello to me, the thing is that I was able to track down where he is. Do you guys still use Snapchat?" She said going completely off topic. I laughed and nodded. "Don't laugh." She said and laughed with me. "Ok so, I would go on Snapchat to check where he was, and then I would mostly see he was with a girl. For three days." She said and then looked down. "And when I asked him why was he with a girl he said it was for 'practice' and I just thought, Wow I never knew your voice was so good you could sing for 72 hours straight." She took a breath and then added. "But yeah that's pretty much the summery of our relationship. One big lie." Wow I never knew Skylas dad was a liar. "Ok I actually came downstairs to tell you guys something." I said to them. "Today in music we had to sing solo and then after lesson miss told me that one day I could make a career because I was so good. Then when I got out of class I asked Skyla and Jess about there opinion and they agreed with miss Taylor." Mom and Dad didn't seem shocked or anything. "Well I'm not surprised after all you are the daughter of one of the most talented singers and I'm not talking about myself." Mom said looking and Dad. He smiled and gave her a kiss. "Cerealously?" I said holding up a box of cereal. "I see you learnt something from Liza." Mom said and laughed real hard. "Yeah hopefully I won't pun out." I said and winked. Dad just clapped. "Can you sing us something so that we can judge it." He said. "Sure, what song?" I asked. "As long as you love me." Mom said after dad took ages to choose one. "We're under pressure. Seven billion people in the world trying to fit in. Keep it together. Smile on your face even though your heart is frowning so Hey now. You know girl. "You're a mix of two singers and that voice of yours says it. You're really good." Mom said poking me. I giggled and then went upstairs to my bedroom and googled what my dad looked like when he was younger. And I was quite surprised at what he looked like.
