Connection// Chapter 6

Lunas POV
The M's and I are currently walking back from the woods. Cameron and the others left too, they were all panicking. I don't know whats happening, but it seemed something serious.

I was deep in thought until Melanie snapped me out of it

" Earth to Luna" she says while waving her hand in front of my face

" sorry what did you say?"

" i asked where do you wanna eat?"

" i don't know. But i am craving for a vanilla n' caramel milkshake from Stella's" i answered

" then Stella's Bar and Grill it is" Mathea said

We are now walking on the pavement on the way to Stella's Bar and Grill since it was not too far away.

If you don't know what Stella's Bar and Grill is its basically the best diner here in Nebraska. Trust me their burgers and milkshakes are the bomb.

I remember when i was younger, my dad always takes me there every Sunday for a father-daughter bonding. I guess we stopped doing that ever since he became busy with work.

We arrived at Stella's 5 minuets later and the place was packed. We were currently waiting for a table then a waitress called us up telling us it was ready.

As we sat down, a lovely old woman came to take our order.

" what shall i get you 3 young ladies tonight?" She asks sweetly

" ill take a 4-cheese cheese burger with a side of fries and a strawberry milkshake" Mathea ordered

" ill take the same thing but my drink will be iced tea" Melanie said

" and ill take the barbecue smoked burger and a vanilla n' caramel milkshake" i answered

" alrighty! Im Sharon and your orders will be coming right up" she says then walks away.

Minuets later, Sharon came back with our orders

" enjoy your meal kids!" She smiles and we thanked her then goes to another table to take orders

" FINALLY!" Mathea yelled and know stuffing her mouth with fries

Melanie and I laughed at her and then basically doing the same thing.

" Woohoo! Im stuffed" Melanie says satisfied with what she ate.

" same" me and Mathea said at the same time

" okay ill get the check and pay" i said

" No i'll pay for everything" Mathea says

" no i will" melanie reacted

So basically right now we are debating about who will pay and get the check.

" okay how about this. Lets just split the check. You'll pay for your orders and i'll pay mine" i said finally giving up the debate

They both agreed and we all got separate checks

While waiting for our check we talked and laughed about stuff. Like how Mathea told us a story when she was younger.

She wanted to have a pet duck because she was obsessed with them before. She would always ask her parents if she could have one but obviously, parents being parents they said no. So she was sad and decided to kidnap one in a pond.
