Error code: Look Behind You

I had moved into a new house, in rural Washington state. I had moved a lot in my past, so I go into the habit of looking up what was there before the houses where built.

Sitting on my bed, with my laptop; I typed in the closet street name and waited for Google to work.

"Maybridge Mental Hospital burned down in 1992. One missing. Hundreds dead." I read aloud and soon searched for that patient.

"Patient Giselle Loom has been missing since 1992. Resources say that she was responsible for the fire that killed many. No one has found her. She has long blonde hair, and she has a tendency to gli--" The browser had crashed out of google, and immediately opened back up into my email.

I had one new email-notification from Youtube. It had said that I had one new subscriber, the username xGlitchy176xX ; I look on their account and saw that they only had one video, with my full name on it. This had set me on the edge of my seat, Daniel Jackob Miller.

I clicked the bolder blue lettering and waited.

The screen had been normal, I waited for the video to start, my face appeared on the screen.

Every move I made was like a live stream. No sound, no subtitles. The background was dark and gloomy. After awhile a figure started to slowly creep towards me, I became very paranoid, every time I had looked behind me, the figure wasn't there, but it was still on the screen. As it became closer it became more obvious "It" was a "She." She wore ripped clothes, slightly burned, and bloody. Her face... it was half pixelated, and the other half was like normal... she was like a video game... the pixelated half looked like it was torn off, one eye glowed a bright green, the other oozed a dark red.

After awhile, I realized ... she was Giselle Loom. The patient that went missing, the one that supposedly burned down the whole Mental Hospital.

The screen had caught my attention, it had said "Look behind you."

Fear caught in my throat. I slowly turned my head to look behind me.

She was behind me. Looking down at me.
