Natsu's POV

I was just playing my violin that day until I saw a beautiful girl walk up in my direction. I had also just realized that there was a snow cone stand right behind me, and it was a hot summer day. Maybe she was going there. I was just a 10-year-old kid, but my heart couldn't stop beating. Her eyes were chocolate brown, her lips were strawberry pink, her cheeks were peachy goodness... I liked food, okay!

As she walked up to me, I could smell her scent. She was the aroma of fresh cherry blossoms. "Um, hello?" she said, waving her hand in front of me.

"Uh..." I broke out of my trance. "H-hi!" I said. Smooth Natsu. Real Smooth.

"You were staring at me. I was wondering if I could help you," she replied.

"Oh! Sorry. N-no. I don't need any help." It grew silent. Think of something Natsu! Think! "I like your eyes!" Of course.

"Thank you! I like your beautiful onyx eyes and fabulous coffee brown hair!" (A/N Yes. Brown. He dyes his hair afterward.)

"I'd never got a compliment like that before," I blushed.

"Oh, silly. I'm sure you have. You just don't remember!" she replied. Actually, she's right. Lisanna had told me that. She was my best friend! Until she died in a car accident. I still am gloomy till this day about her death. I stand there with my head down. "Are you okay? You seem... sad."

"Oh? I'm... not okay. My friend, Lisanna, had died in a car crash just a few months ago."

"I'm sorry for your loss. Want a snow cone to cheer you up? My treat!" she smiled.

"Oh no! I can pay myself." that's when she noticed my violin.

"Can you play? The violin, I mean," she asked a slight tint of pink on her cheeks.

"Of course!" I play her a song, and she starts singing along.

*SHE AIN'T SAD!!! SHE'S HAPPY!!!!*

Once the song was finished, I clapped like a maniac. And by then, there were people all around us. They all cheered. Suddenly, a man with dirty blonde hair popped out from behind a tree and glared at the blonde.

"LUCY! Get back in the house!" Lucy huh? She looked scared and left without a wave goodbye. Instead, she just looked back at me and frowned. She mouthed, "I'm sorry," and left.

I am upset that she left, and I'm worried about her, but... We never got our snow cones either.

;-;

SORRY THAT WAS SHORT! And I'm sorry for grammar and spelling. I made it short cause if I made it too long, this book would end quickly and the book would also get super boring. Don't want that, now do we? Peace out!
