I wake up from a glare In my face, the sun peaking through my curtains. I groan from my hang over from last night "ugh" rolling over falling off my bed
"Fuck" I say I reach on my desk to grab my phone the time 8:21am, school started at 7:45am. "Late again I guess" I get up off the floor to go along with my day. Debating on taking a shower "eh I took one last night" pulling off my stripped pajama shorts and black hoodie leaving me in my underwear I put those girl products on and then a fresh pair of underwear and a bra. Putting on black ripped jeans, a black spaghetti strapped tank top, and a random flannel I grabbed outta my closet, a black and a grey sock, with white vans. I look In my mirror at the black under my eyes a little concealer here and there with some mascara and winged eyeliner. "Aye you look like shit again but you still a bad bitch" I point at myself into the mirror. I laugh "ah I hate myself" grabbing my backpack, and IphoneC.

I walk into my livingroom seeing unknown people on my couch as usual. "niña no deberías estar en la escuela" (child shouldn't you be at school) I turn to see my tio bashtian. "I'm going don't worry" I say walking towards the front door "kay" he says I turn he throws me the keys to his car "fill it up after escuela" (school)
I drive to school seeing a blunt in the cup holder
I'm not even half sober from last night but who cares I multi task and light it up and drive. I park in the parking lot of my local high school. I put the car in park continue sitting there taking a few more puffs
"Fuck that's some good kush" I put some eyedrops in and spray myself with perfume.

I walk through the side gate of the school forget the front office why do they have the gate open if they don't want me going through it. I walk to my first period class even though there is 6 minutes left of that period. Walking into the U.S history class the dumbass teacher confronts me "Ms. Katheryn, where is youre pass" "didn't give me one" "why not" "I don't know" I roll my eyes "don't roll you're eyes at me mis-" the bell rings off to second period "REMEMBER READ 1-30" "Katheryn come back" he says as I come back through his classroom doors
I sign "yes" "Katheryn I know you have family pro-" I interrupt him in the middle of his sentence "I don't have any family problems get outta my business man" I say and walk out of his class
"Fuck people man" I sign putting on my earphones
I go to the girls restroom into the stall I unzip my backpack taking two xanies "I need another joint" I say in my mind

- I walk to the table I usually hang out at with my friends on the way I hear my name on the speaker "Katheryn Rodriguez" report to the counselors office
I debate on going "eh whatever" I turn around towards the counselors office
I walk into the office I sign in and wait for mrs.burrows, I see a fellow customer sitting in the waiting chairs I sit next to him "what's up jj" "aye Kay just the girl I'm looking for" "I swear if you're the reason I'm sitting here and got me caught up" "nah nah I ain't a snitch, I just gotta new customer for you his name is Diego" "who's he" "diego, diego Leanos he got a face tat" "psh didn't he dropout as a freshie" "yeah he needs a new plug and he thinks you're hot" - "Rodriguez" my name is called "I'll talk to you later" Jj waves I walk into mrs.burrows office
"Sit down Rodriguez"
"Ok let's get to it, I know I was late didn't get a tardy pass yeah yeah gimmie detention"

"You're almost an adult and you're so unreliable in school what are you going to do to fix this"

"Look honey you're a senior and if you don't start caring you will not graduate do you know!" She says sternly

"Think about this conversation on you're way out I don't want to see you In this office again this week unless it's for good now go"
"Bye burrows" I walk out of her office Jj sitting there "so this dropout" I ask "Ortiz" you're turn he winks and goes into burrows office "weird ass kid"

I sit in my desk staring at the clock tick tock waiting for the hand to hit 2:42 so I can get the fuck out of here. The bell rings finally now I can go make some money roll some paper . Walking out of the class running into mrs.burrows "this bitch again" I think to myself "just the girl I was looking for" "can I leave schools over" "can I have minute of you're time" "wasted my lunch I guess waste this time again" "Katheryn you understand you need to follow school rules and get school requirements to graduate"

She talked about my family it angered me but then she brought up my brother it's made me furious "you don't know me or my family you cat loving bitch" I said quietly but sternly and got out of this school the fastest I could.
"Uh whata day" I walk to the car seeing a group next to it "Hey Kay this is Diego."
