What makes a MAN better than a man
Is it the smiles and laughs when live is rosy
Is it the gifts shared and the luxury acquired
Is it the robust account balance and stacks of cash
Is it the numerous awards, qualifications and titles
Or probably the glowing wife and adorable kids
The man of the people, the people speak of his generosity
Or is it in the shaky helping hands stretched forth to others
The help rendered out of the little he has
Giving in pain even when he doesn’t have enough
Selfless giving, rare among human they
He has little yet he shares are words whispered
Does he even know when next he’ll have to give
And can’t he see he can’t meet the needs of the needy
Hmmmm…but its all giving, changing the lives of others
Doing what is right, an act of kindness, godly acts
Putting smiles on the face of others
Seeds of happiness sown, bellies filled
Another day conquered and future gotten till tomorrow
Unique beings contributing to others can’t you see
The make the world better and are heros
Then what makes a MAN different from a man
Its the motive of his giving, to be seen by people
Or to meet a need, just to solve another human’s problems
Is it a public stunt or a genuine act
To look good to others or to make another smile
Is it giving of your excess cash or it costs you something
Passion for what we do can make an hobby out of work
Put smiles out there, make our world better
Remember to be human and what it takes to be one
