The Three Sisters

Once upon a time, there were three sisters who could only be described as the snobbiest snobs of all snobs in the world. Raised without a father for most of their lives, Mother tried her best to balance her witchcraft and teaching the little monsters the three most important virtues including selflessness, charity, and temperance although that backfired severely. Each sister had their own palace and ruled over a major city in the United States. The eldest daughter, Vanity, took pride in her city located in California which is known as Los Angeles. Elodie, who is the middle child, rules over New York City, New York. Last but not least, Beatrice was given Miami in the sunny state of Florida. Although each daughter thought they were perfect compared to others, they each had a flaw that would make their downfall.

Having enough, Mother decided she had to put a stop to the prideful, selfish, and self absorbed ways of her children. Calling each of them up she said, "My sweet, sweet, children. I obviously have not raised you well enough because you became exactly what I feared."

Letting out a sigh she continued, "You girls are so use to having money and everything at your fingertips that you've lost touch with your humanity."

Before Mother could continue Beatrice said, "Fine, what's her Snapchat?"

Giving her daughter a 'what the hell look' she questioned, "What?"

Not understanding what her mother meant Beatrice restated, "Humanity. What's her Snapchat? We'll send her a snap so you can stop worrying."

Trying to ignore her daughters stupidity and move on she said, "Anyways, in order to keep you three grounded, you will be poor for a week." After a moment of silence, Beatrice asked, "What is that?"

"What is what?" Asked Mother.

This time Elodie spoke up, "That word you said."
"Grounded?" Mother questioned while trying not to lose her mind. "No the word that started with a 'P'." Vanity answered for everyone.

"Poor!" Mother practically yelled. "Yeah that one! What is it?" Beatrice said excitedly.
Answering back Mother said, "You really don't know- You know what, I can't even finish that sentence."
Taking a deep breath she continued, "In a few short hours, someone will come collect you and take you to where you will be staying. I have taken the liberty of renting a single suite  apartment equipped with a small kitchenette, some bread with butter for starter food, and a hundred dollar bill. Don't even think about trying to get out of this, I have already casted a binding spell as soon as you picked up this phone." Slamming the phone down to officially end the call, Mother laid back in her chair to catch her breath.

Like their mother had promised, a car came to each of their houses and took them to a small apartment in the middle of each of their little cities. Over in Miami, Beatrice decided to try and make herself some toast. Obviously she had seen her personal chef do it many times, but staring at the bare counter in front of her she noticed no toaster-oven in sight. Figuring that there was absolutely no other way to make toast she decided to order pizza for the first
time.

"Hello! Thank you for calling Pizza Pizza Pizza. What can I get for you?" A voice said from the phone.

"Um.. Yeah. I want a pizza" Beatrice responded sounding indecisive.

"Ok. What kind would you like?" The pizza shop guy asked.

"Cheese" She answered.

"Ok. What topping will you like on the pizza?"

In turn, Beatrice said, "Umm.. I don't know. I think it's a top from Walmart, where ever normal people shop."

Confused about what she's talking about, the pizza guy said, "What? No, I meant what topping do you want on the pizza?"

Again, all Beatrice could say was, "Why the hell would I put clothes on my pizza?"

In the concrete city, Elodie arrived at her apartment and not two seconds later was already crying. After her sob session there was a knock at her door. Opening it, she stood face to face with a nun. Before she could speak the nun said, "I'm sorry to bother you dear, but I'm here to collect donations."

Looking at her like she has two heads Elodie said, "I don't know what that is."

Therefore the nun explained, "Would you mind giving some money to the Pink Baked Ziti organization for the fair treatment of baked ziti in the world?"

"Yeah... Sorry, I don't have any money on me." Elodie tried to say but the nun already walked away.

Going back to complaining, she only managed a few minutes before there was another knock at the door. Opening it again, the same nun was standing there but this time she had three more nuns with her. Annoyed, Elodie said, "What the literal hell, I told you I had no money."
The main nun responded with, "The Holy Spirit tells me you're lying."

When the week was up, Mother decided to fly out to Miami to visit her youngest daughter first. Walking into Beatrice's apartment, she saw her daughter dead on the floor. Looking around she noticed the phone hanging off the hook with the number to the pizza shop on dial. Her cause of death later determined by doctors being starvation. In New York City later that day, Mother opened the door to where Elodie was suppose to be staying to find that she wasn't there. Taped onto the fridge was a note. Walking over, Mother pulled the note off bringing it up close to her eyes she read, "We have taken your daughter to cure her of her greed"- The nuns.

Not having much faith in her eldest daughter either, Mother cracked the door open expecting the worst only to see Vanity sitting on a lavish couch. She quite simply sat there sipping on a glass of wine while watching HGTV. Stunned to see this, Mother asked her, "Where did you get all this furniture? How is this even possible, you only had $100 bucks?"
The only thing Vanity responded with was a simple question. "Did I win?"

Weeks later, after the funeral for Beatrice, Mother decided to visit her house to finish up some business only to find most of her stuff missing. This ranged from a couch, a rug, even silverware, glasses, and wine. Letting out a sigh, Mother said, "Oh well." having realized that there was no use in trying to make Vanity change after what happened to her other daughters.
