The First Hybrid

Chapter two

I could hear voices, I wasnt sure whos. My head felt heavy, I tried to open my eyes but it seemed to be a challenge at the moment. It took me a few seconds to get my eyes to even start opening and I guess it has something to do with the major headache I was having.

As I sat up the voices I heard seemed to have left the room. I slowly sat up feeling the slight pain in the back of my head. As I looked arounds I saw the white plain and empty room of the school medical care room.

I knew exactly why I was there, Blare must have hit me over the head with something and knocked me out. I must admit it was a pretty good short. It seemed to be impossible till now for me to get knocked out.

"Oh I didnt realise you where awake Mr. Alcott"

the nurse said as he said standing in the doorway breaking my trail of thought. I hadnt even heard him walk in.

"how are you feeling? Miss. Snow hit you pretty hard and it seemed like a ruthless hit, but once we saw how quickly you healed we werent too worried"

he stated like he didnt really care.

"Im feeling fine just a slight headache" I replied.

"Okay good, well you should be good to go then. Just make sure if anything starts to occur then go see the closet doctor".

I said thanks and got up and walked out of the nurses office. As I walked down the long cream coloured hallways I looked at the time seeing how much time I had till I could leave.

One hour I mutter under my breath, which means I was out for at least 2 hours. I decided instead of going to my next class to go for a walk through the forest instead.

The forest was where most people went to skip class. Its where the closets portal to different words are. I headed to my locker and grabbed everything I needed from the locker and stuffed it into my medium warn out bag. If had it for the past 3 years yet its still in okay condition.

I headed towards the large brown doors. Once I was outside I set my eyes on the forest which was in close proximity to the school. Its about a 5 minute walk there maybe longer, as I walk I try yo avoid being see by students and teachers alike.

As I approach the forest the smell of oak and other scents surround me. The large cascading trees which provide a safe barrier from peering eyes with the shrub that is below also helps.

I continue walking into the forest until I find somewhere to sit where I am unable to feel the presence of other supernatural beings.

As I sit down on the hard dirt ground below, I remove my jumper and place it in a way so I can use it as a pillow. As I laid down the drowsiness from the pain stared to take over.

The last thought that went through my mind before I passed out was the wolves will be out soon. Hearing the sound of running feet I jumped up, grabbing my jumper and back and quickly running off in a different direct so I wasnt in their direct path.

I kept running till I was met with the edge of the dreary forest. I looked around seeing the long stretch of road, one way leaded to the school and the other way leads to places I am not allowed to go. I look at my phone to check the time, 4:30 already, I better start heading home before someone gets mad I think.

I put my thin jumper on and position my bag so its properly on my back. I slowly start to walk in the direction of the house, after walking for a few minutes a car stops besides me.

Four guards exit it and then my father. I came to a halt when I saw it is him getting out of the vehicle, the four guards quickly approached, two of them grabbed me by the arms and stopping me from moving while the other two stood behind me.

Augustus waited for the guards to bring me to him, once I was in front of him he seemed to have a look of disappointment which was accompanied by a smirk.

"Oh Victoria you should have been home over an hour ago, but instead I find you out here filthy. What have you been doing? Playing in the bush?"

He asked sarcastically I only looked up at him not saying a word.

"Not going to talk now huh? We will see how long that lasts"

he says quickly then swings and punches me in the jaw. I tasted blood in my mouth, that punch wasnt as strong as usual I thought as I opened my mouth to stay something.

"Oh fuxking hell Augustus I didnt realise it was you, I was just taking a walk to go and mess with your fucking car"

I said smirking know it would annoy him. He swung again.

"Sure you where Puppet, but I doubt that you wouldnt have the guts to do anything to your family's property."

He stated and wiped his hands off, I just looked down knowing he was right. The guards dragged me into the car, while the other two got into the front seats. Once we were in the car chain where places around my wrist and ankles.

"Whats the chains for?!" I ask.

No reply, as if I hadnt said anything at all. The car drive was silent, no one said a single word. The guards the sat beside me sat there the whole time making sure I didnt do anything. When we arrived at the house, I was led into the packs main house. As soon as I walked through the door, everything turned black.
