Aspen's Pov.

I looked out the window of the same place that I've been in for the past year or so. Nothing has changed since then, I haven't smiled or laughed or even talked since the incident happened. Ever since the incident I haven't talked to anybody, I wouldn't be surprised if the care taker for this place didn't even know I existed anymore because the only time that I get out of my room is when we eat. Even then I'm still quiet and pretty much keep to myself.

"Aspen!" My best and only friend here, Delilah, explained by entering the room. I flinched she knew I disliked loud noises.

I only nodded my head her way to let her know that I was now listening to her. She was always pretty energetic and was really beautiful everyone is pretty surprised she hasn't been adopted and even more surprised that she and I became friends.

"Guess what ?!" She had exclaimed yet again but now jumping up and down in her spot like she would explode if she didn't say it any sooner. You could practically taste the excitement rolling off of her.

But before I even had the chance to nod my head back she had burst and practically cried of happiness when she finally got to tell me her great news.

"I'm getting adopted !" And I immediately stood there shocked. Oh I have spoken way to soon yet again. My best and only friend here was leaving me. The only person who actually the patience to talk to me even thought she knew I wouldn't verbally respond back to her was now leaving me and probably for good. Maybe I knew it wasn't shocking because I knew she was a great girl so that's why what I did next didn't surprise me as much as it did to her.

So here is the prologue !! I hope you like it and tell me what I should make her do for the part that is so 'SHOCKING' who knows maybe ill use your idea instead of mine. But I won't update until I get some votes and comments please !! 😇
