There was an empty space that was ruled by none and known to all. With the empty space came a powerful spiritual being, which was named L'ingannatore.  L’ingannatore saw the empty space and created a ball from the darkness and added some of his skin to create an uninhabited sphere. L'ingannatore grew lonely and created a female for himself named Redenzione. Redenzione bore him two sons one named Conto, creator of disaster, and the other Debolezza, creator of peace. Debolezza grew jealous of Conto because of the fact that Conto was the favored son, and Debolezza wanted to get rid of him. One time when Conto was shaking the sphere Debolezza walked up with a sword and tried to kill Conto which failed due to his inability to carry the sword. Conto saw this and ripped Debolezza apart and put them on the sphere making land for it and using his blood for the seas. L’ingannatore saw this and picked up the sword and took out one of Conto’s eyes to use pieces of it to create the sky.

As Conto’s blood hit the sphere trees and other plants grew from the land making forests and jungles. Conto was growing lonely so he asked his father to create for him a woman of his own. L’ingannatore took some of the sea and land and created a woman named Predizione for Conto. Predizione gave birth to a daughter named Vorbote and a son named Caos. Caos decided to roam the sphere to see how it felt there. He noticed how uninhabited it was and took a branch from a tree and made a serpent that had multiple heads. As the serpent moved on its way to the sea Vorbote came down and put a hole in the ground that filled up with water. The serpent saw this and entered the water as all but one of its heads fell off and became another serpent. Vorbote saw one of the serpents get bigger as it swam closer to the shore and followed it. The serpent came out of the water being taller than the hole in the ground and moved over to Caos as spikes started growing on top of its head and its back. Caos saw this and grabbed up some dirt and made it into a giant, named Potere, with two eyes, four arms and wings so big they blocked the sky.

The giant crushed the serpent into the ground as the serpent bite the giant’s leg. Vorbote saw the serpent on the ground and turned it into a mountain covered with trees. With the serpent gone and Potere poisoned, Caos returned the sky and his parents. As Potere walked away with his leg bleeding, from the bite, it asked one of the serpents in the water to get rid of the poison. A serpent agreed to as long as Potere allowed no harm to come to them. Potere agreed and the venom was gone from its body.

Vorbote saw the giant walking away from the serpents and asked why it went to the serpents instead of the creator for help. Potere said the creator abandoned him and left him to live in pain. L’ingannatore heard this and cast down a massive swarm of eight million red demons with two sets of wings, spiked heads, sharp claws, and jagged skin armed with battle axes, claymores, scythes, flails, Kilijs, halberds, pikes, and twin swords. The swarm fell on the giant, swinging their weapons at him, while he tried to grab and crush them. The demons ripped off Potere’s wings so he couldn’t fly away. They tore off his arms and legs and watched as they fell to the ground. When they were done all that was left was the bleeding remains of Potere.

Caos saw the remains and turned each piece except the wings, which became the night sky, into a mountain and the blood as rivers and lakes. Potere’s eyes were used to make the sun and the moon. The biggest mountain was made from the chest. Out of the mountains came different creatures of various shapes and sizes. Out of the biggest came creatures with all colors of fur, teeth and claws like wolves but walked upright on two legs and had eyes that could be seen no matter how bright out it was and were named lycanthropes.

Different clans came from these lycanthropes and each started their own village. The greatest of the lycanthrope clans was the demon lycanthropes who had dark grey fur, blood red claws, eyes as dark as night, and howls louder than all the other clans put together, led by the lycan king Ragnarok. Ragnarok had claws sharp enough to destroy a tree with one hit and legs strong enough to jump from the top of a mountain to another. From the first tree Ragnarok destroyed, came a man and a woman. L’ingannatore saw this and tried to have one of the creatures that came from a small mountain destroy them. The humans saw the creatures coming and went to the lycan king for help. Ragnarok agreed to help as long as the humans agreed to stay away from the lycanthrope villages.

The humans agreed and Ragnarok and his soldiers went to meet the unknown creatures in battle. The unknown creatures were small compared to the lycans and carried various weapons and wore pale armor that was easily destroyed. When the battle started the lycans were ripping them apart limb by limb one by one. After the battle ended the remaining creatures ran for their lives as Ragnarok and his kin feasted on the bodies of the defeated. The humans used the bones to build houses for themselves.

The creatures that made it back to the mountain told their leader and he ordered them to start forging stronger armor and sharper weapons. The smoke from the forges escaped from the holes in the mountain, covering the mountains in smoke so thick you can barely see through it. When the creatures were busy forging the new armaments the lycans were on their way to finish them off. The lycans raided the mountain and fueled by bloodlust killed all of the creatures and ravaged the bodies of the dead and of those who are still alive. The forges continued to burn as all of the creatures killed and their king’s throat cut open by Ragnarok. As time went by the smoke stayed and the human’s population increased as they kept their agreement with the lycan king. The humans valued family and were determined to protect it. The lycans remained in their villages hidden in the forests.

One day as the humans began to create cities using nearby quarries a worker decided to check the mountains that were once swarmed by the lycans and saw an injured creature that was limping towards him. The closer it got to him the more prepared to strike he grew until the creature was right next to him. When he realized it was there it was too late. The creature bit his neck as he screamed in pain. After the creature finished and dropped him on the ground he rose up as his eyes turned a dark red and his teeth started to grow points. The creature disappeared after the transformation was done. When the guy saw how he changed he grew a need to create more like him.

Before he went to create more he saw the ruins of the forges and the old city that once flourished with livelihood. He saw an unfinished set of armor lying on the ground somewhat buried by bones of the dead. The first thing he did after seeing the armor was get a furnace ready as he had the armor on the forge. Day and night he worked to complete the most horrific looking set of armor where the sign of evil was on each piece of the set that would be worn by him showing that he is king of his own people.

The now hungry worker decided to go find people to turn into his breed at night since the cover of darkness worked better for him. The first victim he found was a young and strong guard that he would make into an officer in his army. He silently snuck up on the guard and stroke when he was in perfect darkness turning the guard into one like him. With the newly turned guard he had him go turn more guards, workers, mages, and smiths into beings like them as he went in search of his queen.

As his newly formed breed grew bigger he found the maiden that he would take as his queen. The maiden he found was a young and beautiful princess whose skin was pale. He waited till she walked closer to him and into an area with no lights where he would strike. After she was turned into his queen he left with her bringing his newly grown breed back to the mountain where he forged his armor. When they arrived at the mountain he commanded the smiths to make armaments for his new army as the mages practiced magic only known after being turned while the workers fixed up the city to look as devious and horrific as the king wanted.

Now that the once destroyed city was being rebuilt and his forces trained and equipped it was time for the worker king to make a new name for himself since his old human name would do him no good anymore so he decided on a name that would fit his new appearance and power. He became known as King Draconis, the first lord of the new race that lived in the darkness. While Draconis watched his city change to his dream he had some of his troops go and create new recruits for his newly growing army and civilization.
