When Adaline woke up nothing was out of the norm, 7:00 am is the time she wakes up. Adaline started her morning by entering the bathroom and brushing her yellow stained teeth, she wished hers were pearly white like all the other girls' teeth at school. The following action she took was combing her brown hair, it was too short, too dark, and Adaline couldn't style it nicely like every other person that indemnified as female that went to the hellhole that was named school.
Once Adaline finished her morning routine a frown formed on her face when she got a proper view of herself.
"Something's wrong with me. Maybe if I were pretty and attractive. Maybe then I wouldn't be antagonized all the fucking time." Adaline sighed. Staring at herself caused a great amount of pain.
Once Adaline arrived downstairs she got her keys off the hook by that was by the door, and grabbed her book bag from the floor. When she opened the front door t
"Adaline if your going to come in the kitchen, then come. You've been sitting on the stairs for 10 minutes." I finally walked into the kitchen after that, to find my mother chopping vegetables.
"Mom, how could you have possibly known that? I wasn't anywhere near you field view." My mother visibly stiffened, and stopped cutting.
"Must have been 'mom's intuition'." I chuckled.
"You know that's not a thing mom, your the one who told me. "
"Will you just hurry up and leave! I know your not hungry so..." My mother now sounded somewhat cautious, but I couldn't place the reason as to why.
"I'm not hungry, but how did you know that? You didn't even ask me."
"Your going to be late Adaline." She stated nonchalantly.
"Where's my lunch?" My mom eventually turned around to face me.
"Why would you ask that? Your buying lunch aren't you?" I was starting to get weirded out. How could my mom know these things, she never asked me. I decided not to question it though, since I would probably miss the school bus.
"Bye mom."
Once I reached the bus stop, the bus arrived. I could hear the laughter and the chatter of my peers that refused to accept me, without even entering the bus. As soon as I stepped inside the bus, there was hushed silence. But, this was the reaction I expected, why wouldn't they stop talking, I'm the biggest outcast at school.
I sighed as I took my seat, it was in the front near the bus driver, and away from the prying eyes of my tormentors. I could still hear the whispers about me through the social wall that separated me and the rest of the world. Once your rejected, your never recover from it.
School was the same as always, when I got to the stairs someone purposely knocked down my books. When I got to the 3rd floor where my classes take place, another person pushed me into the lockers on my way to advisory. This made me late and I got a lecture from my advisory teacher about constantly being late. I never bothered to explain to her why I was always late, it's not like anyone would believe me if I did tell. Who would vouch for me, the entire student body was against me.
"-and If your late again you'll get two weeks detention Adaline!" That was the only part of her lecture that I cared to hear.
"Okay Ms. Pelli."

Lunch was unfailingly more crummy that the morning, being the butt of everyone's joke wasn't a very pleasant feeling, knowing that your supposed associates only spoke bad things about you. And they spoke loud enough for only me to hear when I would walk by them, like I need people to make me feel more unwelcomed than I already did.
