Hello Jongie~ I know you might not be able to read this.. mainly because it's in English. And I know you are probably laughing and having the best time up there right now, but if you would read this, it would mean a lot to me (only if you can/want to, won't push you).
I have been a Shawol ever since you're debut year (2008). I might have went away from your music for a little because of the lack of internet or whatever you might think of it as, but I was always a fan. My older sister helped me get into you guys. Of course, when she introduced me to K-pop, she also introduced me to Super Junior, Big Bang, and 2NE1 (later on of course). Because it was my sister, every time she came over, we would listen to your music (SHINee and others) and she kept going back and forth between you and Taemin as her bias haha-
Anyway, when I was in middle school, I remembered what my sister and I have done during those times, leading me back to the K-pop world. Of course, it was a 4 year gap of not listening to any of the comebacks or anything. You better believe I went on a spree of binge watching videos. At that time, I only listened to SHINee. I watched all of your music videos, all your funny moments made by fans, all of your variety shows, and everything else that had to be involved with SHINee. At that time, my bias was Minho. But, as I have grown older over the years, I realized I had no bias. Each and everyone of the members of SHINee have impacted my life one way or another. Seeing Taemin's and Kibum's awesome dance battle on that one show (honestly forget the name) to Hello Baby, 3 to 4 times, to SHINee's live concerts. You guys have made me one of the happiest people I could ever be, even when I didn't want to smile. Going through bullying, you were there to cheer me up. Going through bad grades, you were there. Going through divorce of my parents, you were there. You guys were always there for me and other Shawols during tough times. I can't thank you enough for how much you have been there for me or been the person you are. Yes, we might have shed some tears during your passing, and I might not have been able to sleep or eat that day, but I'm better now. Knowing you are in a better place, knowing you are being taken care of, knowing you aren't suffering anymore, that is the best thing we could ever ask for. I know I was never able to go to any concerts, I know I wasn't able to go to fan meetings, I know I wasn't able to meet you guys face to face, but the fact that I knew you were making music and being who you are, is honestly the best thing I could ask for.
Thank you for your voice, thank you for your music, thank you for your kindness, thank you for your laugh, thank you for your humor, thank you for your humbleness, thank you for you. I don't regret getting into K-pop/SHINee, and I will be a loyal fan to death. We miss you, I miss you everyday. But, please stay safe, you aren't alone anymore. We love you, I love you. So much.
