Mike milligan was in low spirits this morning for two now 17 year olds were now preparing for their final day. this morning he arrived early sent the night shifter carer home and then went into the office and glanced down at their up to date files. He just couldn't imagine the house without them he'd watched the two grow up in front of his eyes one from prankster to leader and the other a broken scared girl to the fearless conscience of the house both whom never gave up on their new family members who came/went (Bailey / Alex) they both had their share of good and bad times in the DG but now one thing was playing on Mike's mind.... Would they be leaving together?
Mike sighed he went to make a tea when he spots something on the table
It was Tyler's documented work or book the object of the pairs fate.
Mike took the book and was about the throw it out but something stopped him he had an urge to read it for himself
Mike opens the book and reads the opener.
What do you expect to happen when you are broken away from your family and dumped in a home with a bunch of strangers at an age where you haven't even started school yet everyday in the two former care homes i was in was if any of you have seen the movie Annie think of that but 100 times worse and if you even dared sang The tomorrow song you would of been beaten or laughed at by the kids you were dumped with if you ever showed any emotion at all it was classed as being a wimp and let's not forget the staff. Even when I was transferred to a third home elm tree house although I had an older kid having my back Rick he was way more mature and older than I was... I had noone who was my age and would be my best friend.
'But,then my life would change forever. When a new girl arrived in the DG although, I did not know it straight off she became the reason I know I'm here. This girl was tough though others were more quick to try to get her out... Now names Howel. I for one am grateful for Mike and Tracy for bringing her home..... Cause now i know if I was to ever arrive in a new home with a bunch of strangers or with my mum again everything would change once again because Jody Jackson wasn't here.'
Mike was blown away
"Mike what are you doing here so early" mai lee and Tyler asks entering the kitchen
"The same reason you are" Mike sighed Mike glanced at mai Lee who was also in defeat of reality Tyler goes and grabs a mug when jody walked in Mike and mai Lee watched the stairdown "I just wish I could go back for just a moment" Mike sniffed
Me too... Is that mai Lee then has to fight but loses as she reads the beginning and sniffed
"So you changed your mind" Tyler asked jody
"Nope... Have you?"
"Come on Jodes what is so bad about it"
Everything Tyler why would you ever give up everything you've wished for....
"Wooh" mai Lee drops the book and out of nowhere....
A storm formed around them
As if they were frozen as they were taken back to a a new Time Tyler had his arms wrapped round jody full grip holding on for dear life to the sink. Mike and mai Lee under the table of now a different kitchen one that Mike Tyler and Jody remembered everything stood still once again
You two okay Mike rushed over to the two who nods jody then shoved Tyler off of her.
"Where are we?" mai Lee wondered
Mike was not to be able to answer himself as he heard screaming and yelling coming from the house of kids
"What's going on" they ran out with Mike rephrasing young Carmen's own words
Jody and Tyler gasped
Wow what's making everyone scream and ouch I felt that as mai Lee shoot a glance and a shoot Mike took
Tyler grinned as jody answered
"me"
"this was my first day in care and it's one I'd grown myself to forget about" jody noted
But how'd we get here... And how do we get back
Jody glared at Tyler
"If this has got something to do with you... "
"Yes cause I have a secret magic power I can transfer us into different worlds" Tyler sarcastically answered back then they both had separate thoughts of their own imagination worlds both blushed and looked away from one another.
"Well looks we are gonna have to go through the whole book to get out of here..." Mike declared
"Great" both grunted "time to unlock our past"
"Got any regrets?" mai Lee asked mike
Nope none hopefully this little adventure can fix these two together again...
