Just two weeks after the fiasco with his mum Tyler couldn't stop feeling guilty and not trusting her or believing her.
Jody kept reassuring him not to blame himself but, he still couldn't help feeling guilty
Saturday morning Jody heads to the gym while Tyler prepares for his meeting his mum for the afternoon.
As Jody walked into the room she gets a shock when she sees Brandon's back
Brandon?
"Hi...hi jody" Brandon greets
Who let you back here
It's a free building to anyone who signs up Jody and I've kept away for the last two months nearly three months. Look I'm just here to box I won't get in your way" he starts to punch the bag again.
Jody says "stop....your doing it wrong you came in like your a beginner closed fist remember I'll help you get back to it"
Brandon smiles "thanks"
They start boxing
"I am really sorry for what happened at the party I was sort of going back to my old ways with my old friends they messed with my head you know"
Jody nods "my mum and my brother used to do that with me too. It's what made me start boxing cause I couldn't control my anger and frustration she was pinning so much on my shoulders and just on my mind messed with my head for so long so may li felt this would help with my anger issues."
"You anger issues...nah your a treasure" he blushed
"A treasure why do you say that"
"Because a treasure that is something that is rare to find but is special to someone and when they find it they feel like the luckiest person in the world." Brandon blushed Jody couldn't help but blush herself.
...I'm sorry...I gotta leave early today... Jody grabs her bag runs out the gym and ran all the way home.
Jody rushed passed everyone grabbed spare clothes and heads to the bathroom to shower.
After 30 minutes of just drying her hair and can't help but think about what Brandon had said she'd never heard someone talk about her like that even Tyler.
She texts Candi
"Come to my room I need some advice?"
Jody lays back on her bed again for about two minutes before she was bombarded by Candi rose Sasha and Charlie.
Something happened at the gym didn't it? Sasha began
Is Brandon back? Charlie quizzed
What did he do? Sasha finished
Did he try to kiss you? Candi smiled
"Do you like him?!" They all said together.
Jody didn't know where to start yes Brandon's back at the gym,we just boxed..no he didn't kiss me. And I don't know maybe I still do....
The girls gasped "so what now"
"Today was the first time we actually talked not just about boxing it felt different" Jody shrugged.
Different how
"He said I was a treasure"
"A treasure?" Sasha looks at her confused
"Yeah he said I was a treasure? that I was a rare but, special and when someone finds it they are the luckiest person in the world....and it's stupid but Tylers never said anything like that before.
The girls were torn they wanted Jody to be happy but Charlie and Candi both knew that Tyler was hiding how he felt for Jody.
"Well...maybe you should...talk to Tyler?"
"Tyle I did that before I know what he feels and he doesn't feel the same" Jody sighed
"Maybe you girls can suss Brandon out?"
The girls smile big "that we can do very well"
Jody invites Brandon to come over next Saturday.
"You do realise everyone will suss him out Jody like me with josh" Sasha reminds
"I know and maybe that's what I need" Jody admits
In her mind maybe I can see how Tyler reacts
The two weeks came rather quickly Tyler heads downstairs overhearing the conversation between everyone at the kitchen table talking about Jody and Brandon
"So are they a thing then?" Jay questions
"Im actually surprised I've always believed Jody and Tyler" floss expressed
"I thought he pushed her in a pool 3 and a half months a go" Alex frowns "why would she invite him round? why does she want anything more?"
Tyler looks down "why didn't she tell me about this I'm meant to be her best friend"
Jody turns round only took a step and Jody walks towards him "so breakfast then?"
"I'm not hungry" Tyler heads upstairs.
Jody looks confused
She walks in the kitchen and it all goes silent
"What?" Jody shrugged
"We hear Brandon's coming over today?" Ryan smirked
Jody looks at the three guilty faces "you told them?!"
"Well yeah they were gonna find out when Brandon got here?"
So thats when they find out it's noone else's business Jody runs upstairs to Tyler
"Tyler" she knocks please "let me in let me explain?"
"Why do I care what you do and don't do?"
Jody got angry fine be like that! Brandon is coming round today if you care or not then fine some best friend
"Some best friend you didn't even tell me?! Nothing I thought we don't have secrets"
"We don't I was gonna tell you and noone else was meant to know my business anyway"
"Just do what you want with Brandon I heard what you said the other day.... " Tyler began, Jody just folds her arms.
"how he calls you sweet nicknames so what yeah sure treasures are rare but they can be the same if you look inside the box...but not my Jodes cause you are different your unique"
Jody loosened her arms and couldn't believe what he just said
"Just go meet Brandon he makes you feel special" Jody goes to her room she cancelled Brandon for the day and just stays in her room feeling so stupid and confused.
The girls walk in
"We've been thinking you need to put both guys in the room together and see how you feel about them and see how they feel about you" Charlie expressed.
Jody nods "but how"
