Back on the roof.

Jay POV.

Evie knocked on my door. I opened it.

"Hey, E."

"Carlos has ran away and it's all my fault! I reminded him of Jane! I don't know where he is!"

"Calm down. You go back to your dorm and I'll go find him." I hugged Evie.

"Thanks, Jay."

"Before you go, I need some advice." I brought Evie into my dorm and I shut the door.

"Anything."

"I love Carlos."

"I knew it! Jaylos is real!"

"Yeah, anyways, what should I do?"

"Breathe, don't act to weird around him, give the love a bit more time to blossom then tell him how you feel." Evie walked out the dorm. I grabbed two knives from my drawers and I used them to climb to the roof of the school. Carlos was always on the roof when he was sad but today, he was actually crying. That was a rare sight.

"Carlos?"

"Jay? Is that you?" Carlos looked at me.

"Yeah, it's just me." I sat next to him.

"Jane is really frustrating me." I told him what she did earlier on that day with Ben.

"Don't worry, Carlos. I'm here for you. Listen to me, you're my best friend and I really really care for you. Jane is a dirty no good who deserves nothing. Just think of hakuna matata. It means no worries. Am I right or am I white? Don't answer that." I made Carlos laugh.

"I can always rely on you for support." Carlos leaned into me.

"I promise nothing bad will ever happen to you as long as my heart is beating." I wrapped an arm around him. We sat in silence for a few precious seconds.

"The stars do look beautiful tonight." Carlos looked up at the stars. He started to shiver.

"You cold?"

"Just a bit."

"Here." I took off my jacket and I wrapped it around him.

"Thanks." Carlos snuggled into my jacket.

"Full moon tonight." I smiled at the moon.

"It's so big and shiny. I could just pull it to my chest." Carlos reached for the moon. I chuckled.

"If you did, Earth will spin faster and that would give me less time to see your wonderful self." I pulled him closer to me. I don't think Carlos knew that I was gay. He might have known.

"I guess. I would hate to see you less, Jay. I've known you for years. You've always been with me."

"Why wouldn't I?" My heart kept on skipping. It was horrible but I was in love with Carlos. Carlos. Of all people, I was in love with my best friend. Love is the most powerful force on Earth.

"Good point." Carlos laughed.

"Carlos, can I tell you something?"

"Sure. I won't tell a soul."

"I...ever since Jane dumped you, I've fell in love with you. I love you more than just a friend."

"So do I. I had never noticed how much I cared for you all these years. I love you, Jay." Carlos smiled at me. We both blushed. I stood up and I walked down the roof. "Where are you going?"

"I'm sorry, Carlos. I still love you, I just don't know what to do."

"Wait for me." Carlos walked up to me. He tripped over a brick and he fell forward. I caught him and I stood him back up again.

"Are you ok?"

"I'm fine. I only tripped." Carlos looked at me. I starred into his brown eyes. I started to lean forward, then he leaned forward. We shut our eyes and then our lips touched. Words couldn't even describe how good the kiss was. Or how soft Carlos' lips were. You know when you eat glazed donuts as soon as they've been glazed? That was just how soft his lips were. He bit my bottom lip which caused me to moan. We parted after thirty seconds.

"That was the best kiss I've ever received." Carlos hugged me.

"You're a great kisser, Carlos." I smiled.

"Let's get to our dorms." Carlos smiled and we climbed down.

"Wait, Carlos, will you be my boyfriend?" I asked him.

"Yes." We held hands and we walked back to our dorm.
