"Jin-hyung~" you call softly in a beautiful singsong voice.
Kim Seokjin mumbles in his sleep. You've known Jin for a long time, pretty much as long as you can remember, in fact. As far back as you can remember you have loved him, and you were delighted when, 6 years ago today, he confessed his feelings to you and asked you out. Since then, he and his good friends have started a band, but Jin always leaves time in his schedule for you, whether it's a phone call, a date, or simple text.
You watch Jin's soft, sleepy features for a moment and you can see the young boy who first stuck up for you in preschool. Coming from a less-fortunate family, you were often picked on a lot, even as a small child. Only one little boy wasn't quick to judge you. He was a year older than you, but that didn't matter. He always stuck up for you, fought back against anyone who tried to hurt you. He often ended up sharing his food with you. You felt a great appreciation for this boy, and something else that you were too young and ignorant to understand at the time.
You smile, overcome with an immense nostalgia and love. "Jinnie-hyung~" you call again, giving him a little shove. "It's time to wake up~" Leaning over him, you plant a gentle kiss on his lips. You see his eyes flutter open, and suddenly you feel two strong, firm hands on your waist. You let out a small gasp as you are pulled into Jin's chest. He kisses you, long and rough, and when he lets you go, you see him smiling sheepishly up at you.
"Good morning, baby," he murmurs into your hair.
You roll off of his chest so you're laying next to him. You nuzzle your face into the side of his neck and smile. "Morning~"
"Are you ready for today?" Jin asks, sitting up so he can see your face.
"Yeah," you cheer happily, grinning at your boyfriend. He promised to spend the entire day with you. It's been a long time since you two had any alone time, and you're excited.
Jin stares at you for a moment, and before you can react he's on top of you, kissing you roughly again. You freeze up momentarily, startled, and before you can do much more than flinch, he's giving you that sheepish look again.
You fluff up Jin's hair and he playfully shoves at you. A shriek escapes your mouth and it takes a moment for you to realize why: you're falling. Jin reaches out for you but misses by a split second, and then you're tumbling to the floor with a thud.
Jin's face pokes over the side of the bed, his eyes full of laughter but his face showing concern. Then his expression changes and he leans back in a fit of laughter. You get off the floor and flop on the bed, sulking. You shove at his shoulder, barely making him move and only causing him to laugh harder.
"I see how much I'm loved. I could've died and all you do is laugh." you pout.
"I love youu~" Jin manages to say as he gasps for his breath.
"Sureee you do," you grumble, crossing your arms.
"I doooo, babyyy," Jin argues. Now it's his turn to pout. You notice something in his expression change, a small flicker through his eyes. "I'll prove it if I have to,"
"By what, shoving me off the bed again?" you tease, giving him another push. Jin rolls his eyes.
"Only if you want me to," he says, giving you a wink. You smack his chest.
"Stoooop oh my gossshh," you whine, wrinkling your nose.
Jin stretches across the bed to kiss your forehead. "Make me," he grins, winking again. His expression flickers for a second; he almost looks confused, but you can't quite tell. Before you can question it, though, he's back to his cheeky grin.
"Hey, hey, hey, guess what?" Jin says, laying back on the bed lazily.
"What?" you roll your eyes, sighing.
"I love you~"
You can't help but smile back as you curl up against his chest. "I love you, too,"
