Evelyn's POV:

"EVE! Get up you're going to school today." my dad shouted from downstairs. Honestly I didn't feel like going to school today at all, same old people and same ol' kind of day. At school I didn't really have anyone I could go to, like no best friend or boyfriend, it's not that anyone hated me it's just nobody found that I was worthy of talking to. I get out of bed and choose my clothes for today, i'm a casual type of person so I just wear my roots sweater and my nike sweats i'm not really dressing to impress anyone anyways. I put on my vans, grab my phone and my dad drives me to school. The school year started about 4 months ago so right now it's currently December, I walk into school and head to my locker to grab my things, I grab my science and math text books and head to math class. I take my seat and my teacher sais we have a new student joining our class.

"Okay class please welcome our new student, Ethan Dolan. He has just moved from New York and he will be joining this class." my teacher [Mr. Sanchez] introduces.

Many people say hey or introduce themselves to Ethan as he takes his seat of course right next to me. It didn't bother me that much but I'm not really a sociable person so he probably wasn't going to get an actual conversation out of me. I had to admit he was pretty good looking but I'm not planning on getting to attached to his looks or anything like that.

"Today we are starting a new project and this one is going to take us a few years back to decimals and division" Mr. Sanchez announces "Now for this project I am not going to assign you partners, you are allowed to choose who you work with as long as you take this project seriously." everyone cheers and chooses their partners except for me and Ethan. "Eve, do you have a partner?" Mr. Sanchez asks "No I don't" "Well that's perfect! You and Ethan can be partners!". Ethan takes a look at me and sighs, what the fuck is his problem?
