Eve's POV:

I realized that Ethan actually did care, under all of that dickness and meanness he really did have a heart. He wasn't just this asshole who didn't care about people, once he got to know you, he would finally understand and care. I saw deep down in Ethan, something I never actually thought I could do, I saw the real him even when he didn't show it. Deep inside there was a boy who had been hurt, but he never released his feelings to anyone, and I could see it. What he did for me was the nicest thing anyone has ever done for me, I really hoped it would continue to be that way, because I liked this Ethan.

I was still hurt, Sabastian planted scars on me that I could never get rid of, I had never actually done anything to Sabastian to hurt him or to deserve this. The only thing that was keeping me standing up straight at this point was Ethan, he had made everything complicated but then it all just made complete sense.

I saw Ethan walk out from behind a corner, he looked heartbroken. His facial expression looked like he had been told his mother was dead or something. Then Sabastian came up right behind him and pulled him back.

Ethan's POV:

This was hard, having to do this was mentally going to kill me, this would rip my insides. What was Sabastian going to make me do to Eve? I really didn't want to deal with this, I wanted to be with Eve.

wait, what?

This was the first time I was finally admitting to myself I wanted Eve, I needed her. Her voice made me crave her, her beauty made my heart physically stop, as cliché as it sounds.  As I was walking back to the main hallway Sabastian pulled me back... again.

Sabastian "Oh and I forgot to mention, you can't talk to Eve unless I tell you to."

Eth "What?"

Sabastian "You heard me Dolan. You fuck me up, I'll fuck you up even more."

This was insane, he was fucking mental. I pushed him off of me and walked.. again out to the main hallway, to then see Eve standing at her locker, thank god she didn't notice me. I tried to walk by her without her noticing me but it didn't really work.

Eve "Hey Eth"

fuck

I looked around to make sure Sabastian wasn't standing there watching my every move.

Eth "Uhh, hey Eve"

But then guess who popped out of nowhere?

Sabastian

Sabastian "DOLAN, DID YOU NOT HEAR WHAT I JUST SAID?"

please don't hurt her

Sabastian "Well then,  since this is your first fuck up I'll let it slip, instead you get to hurt her..."

what?

Eth "I'm not hurting her Sabastian"

Eve "Ethan what is he talking about?"

Sabastian "Do it, or I'll enjoy my sweet time, oh ya know..."

I really didn't want to do this.

Eth "What do you want me to do?"

Sabastian "Cut her."

For some reason there was no one in the hallway, the only fucking time I needed to have a crowd of people around me so I wouldn't have to do this, there was no one, how fucking ironic.

Sabastian handed me a red pocket knife, my hands were completely unstable, I was shaking, this was really bad. Eve was standing with her back against her locker as she was uncontrollably shaking too, I had to hurt her, my babygirl . 

Eth "Where do you want me to cut?"

Sabastian "Both wrists, then ankles"

Eve's POV:

Sabastian was ordering Ethan to do this, but why was Ethan listening? I had a feeling the 'nice Ethan' wasn't going to last, it was too good to be true while it lasted. I was scared, I didn't think Ethan was actually going to listen until he opened the pocket knife and walked a little bit more towards me, he was shaking, he didn't want to do this, this was Sabastian taking over. He grabbed my left wrist and aimed the pocket knife on a slant, why was I letting him do this? He pushed the knife down slowly and blood started to pour out of me.

Eve "AHHH, THAT HURTS" 

Ethan's POV:

She was screaming, pure pain. How was no one hearing this? I looked to my left to see Sabastian just quietly laughing and smirking, he was enjoying every fucking second of this. I moved down to her ankles and proceeded with cutting, the floor was full of blood, her eyes were flooded with tears. I hated doing this, but it was the only way that I could get Sabastian to not rape her again.

Eve "ETHAN STOOOOP!"

I was just about done cutting her as she said that.

Eth "I'm fucking done Sabastian."

Sabastian "Good. Now walk away."

I looked at Eve one more time then walked away feeling like a piece of shit, because I just cut and hurt the most meaningful person in my life, and I can't even apologize for it.

A/N if i can get this to at least 10 reads in the next 2 hours i will update again tonight. sorry but this chapter was really short.
