New Beginnings

Chapter 3

I'm sorry Lauren I can't do it. I love Camila too much. She was there when you weren't, she's helped me through so much. I chose her for a reason because she helped me get over you. All the hurt you put me through.

I held back a sob of happiness. She loves me. I rush into the room right away, brushing past Lauren seeing as if she was leaving the room. On her way out she stops and turns around.

"I hope you take care of her the way I should have Camz." And with that being said she closed the door and left. I'm in Y/N's embrace staring at the door.

Y/N POV

Both Camila and I watched the door close. Lauren made it seem like she was done chasing me, but I knew there's more of her to come. I finally looked down at Camila and leaned down into a kiss. When we pulled away I remembered that we had guest downstairs.

As we neared the last step we heard light sobs and words of comfort. I hesitated and let Camila go forward into the living room while I decided to go into the kitchen. I went into the refrigerator to grab a bottled water to be met with brown eyes.

"You know she is going to keep trying you know?" I looked passed Dinah and into the living room seeing Camila and the girls.

"I know, but I'm happy with Camila why can't she see that?" I put my water bottle down and place my head in my hands. I feel a presence next to me along with a hand on my shoulder.

"Maybe because everyday she wishes it was her?" I didn't raise my head, but the hand was removed from my shoulder and I heard footsteps walking away.

I finally get up and reach for my water, but it's not there. Typical Dinah she was probably just leaning on me to get my drink. I chuckle lightly and head back with everyone else. I take a seat next to Camila and just watch the movie they decided on. This is nice just peace and no drama. Why can't it always be like this.
