Jihoon POV:

I watch as my mother walks down the aisle with a man I've never met before but heard of. But I didn't care. For the first time in a while, she genuinely seems happy and at the moment that was all that matters. After my father left us 5 years ago all she ever did was work her hardest to support me and my older brother who is now married and is living with his wife with 2 children in the U.S. All she has left now is me.. But now, right now, we are adding three more people to our lives. From what I was informed the man whom my mother is marrying is wealthy and he also has two children. Well, only one is living with him right now cause like my brother, the older daughter got married and moved out. They seem like a nice family although I've only now met my stepfather and have yet to meet my stepbrother. Also, they have just start living in Korea awhile ago moving from Taiwan. For some reason, his son wasn't able to attend the wedding because he had an important event to go to that for some reason is more important than his father's big day.

As the wedding ended, everyone moved on to the wedding reception to celebrate for the newlywed and have fun. I would join but I'm not very good with parties or big crowds.
"You look a bit horrified, you feeling okay?" Mr. Lai who is now my stepfather approaches me with a worried expression plastered on his face.
"Actually I'm not really good with crowds," I explain.
"Why didn't you say so? Here, the house key," he handed me the key to our new home and told me the address. "All your belongings are in your room. Be careful going back okay?" He pats me on the back before disappearing back into the crowds.

I took a cab and return to my new home that was originally owned by Mr. Lai and his son whom I still haven't met.
The cab stopped in front of a well-built house that was guarded by a big metal gate.
"Thank you," I pay the driver and walk through the gates. "Oh.? The lights are on," I walk up the steps to the front door and notice it was unlocked. "Did my stepbrother come home already?" Twisting the knob on the door, I push it open and welcome myself into the building. "He should at least lock the door after himself," I loosen up my tie and take off my shoes. There were light footsteps coming from upstairs followed by the sound of the bedroom door shutting. "I-I'm home..." I announce my entrance just in case.
