"jungkookie, over here!!" she beamed as she crouched down, resting her weight on her heels, practically bouncing with excitement.
i quickly ran over to see what she was looking at. many things amazed her easily, which is why i was not surprised to see her nimble fingertips tracing along the petals in a patch of wildflowers.
"look how pretty they are! all the different colours and shapes!" she gleams as the sunlight hits her cheeks, a small dip appearing at the side, revealing a tiny dimple.
she picks up a small white flower and places it in her hair.
"does it look pretty?" she giggles, eyeing my facial expressions curiously for any sign of an answer.
i shrug in response and she groans, tugging me down to the soft grass with her, plucking another white flower and placing it behind my ear gently.
"there, now you look pretty too." she breathes softly.
we lie together on the ground looking at the fluffy shapes the clouds make in the clear blue sky, the quiet surrounding the clean air around us, birds chirping is the only thing to be heard.
that's what intrigues her next.
even if i didn't show it, i'm stuck on the pretty flower in her hair.
