A/N: I was only allowed a certain amount of characters for the title. If you read the book you know the invisible boy, if not it is Millard Nullings.
Millard's POV:
I have been here in this place for a while. I like being here and all but I do not like being here alone. Everybody is either flirting with each other or keeping to themselves or dating someone. Like Emma and Jacob they are always together no matter what, I just wish there was someone here that I liked in a certain way.
Denise's POV:
My parents think I am crazy. I can not forget what I did and they saw it too. The thing that is different between me and them is that they made themselves forget what they saw, I can't forget what I saw. It was like I could do things with water that no one could do before. I could make water appear from my hands like nothing, I didn't even have to think about it, it just appeared. Like I had this special power or something. I just feel like running away from all of this, just to run away and find somewhere where I belong.
Millard's POV:
I have to go see if there are any peculiars around here with Hugh and Fionna. I wanted to go by myself but Miss Peregrine said I can't because I might not be able to defend myself if a hollow comes and tries to attack me. If they are busy holding hands and kissing I will leave them behind. We are outside and they have not said anything at all. I see a figure very far in the distance, so I tell them that I am going to go closer to it. I stop by a near tree and I see it is a girl sitting by a lake just playing with water that is coming from her hands. I can't see much of her but what I can see is that she is tan and she has short, curly dark brown hair. I approach her as slow as possible so she doesn't run away. "Um... excuse me?" She turns around to my voice but she has a confused look on her face. I see her better now she has glasses, and big dark brown eyes. She is beautiful, better than anyone I have ever seen. "Hello I am Millard and I am invisible." "Oh I am Denise and its a pleasure to meet you." She takes out her hand so I shake it.
Denise's POV:
I decided to run away with whatever I had. I ran as far away and as fast away as I could. I had tears in my eyes while I was running because I knew my parents won't miss me but I would miss them. I stopped at this lake and I decided to test this power out. So I just closed my eyes and thought about the water coming out of my hands, when I opened my eyes I saw the water come out. I saw it travel from hand to hand. While I was doing that I heard a voice saying "um... excuse me?" I turned around and saw no one. "Hello I am Millard and I am invisible." That explains why I saw nobody. So I replied "Oh I am Denise and its a pleasure to meet you." I took out my hand to shake Millard's and he shook it, he had a firm grip on my hand. I wonder if he is similar to me?
Millard's POV:
We walk back to the house. Denise was just really quiet. I got a better look at her and she really was beautiful. We walk in and everyone turns their heads. "Hello I am Denise." Jacob gets up and walks to her. "Hello I am Jacob Portman." Emma doesn't even looks like she cares, they probably got into an argument or they broke up. Well Jacob better back off of Denise, she is mine.
