He is back

"Let her go, she doesn't deserve this. What do you want from her? I promise to give you each and every possession I own except her." "What do you mean except her? I own her as much as you do, I will take her with me and ofcourse imagine all the money that comes with her so you better shutup." and wih that he breaks the glass in his hand and strides towards my entire world but he is not able to do make a move before I slip into unconciousness.

I wake up to a peircing sound and it doesn't take a genius to identify that I yelled again after the horrible flashback. Sweat trickles down my forehead and my fingers immediately reach upto to my cheeks where I feel tears running down my face I brush them off and quietly make my way downstairs to the living room and fill a glass of water. It's not like my voices disturb anyone since I live all by myself. Although, my place seems far more accommodating yet it's just me. This place has lost its warmth and hence I call it my house and not my home. Brushing off these thoughts I return to my room waiting for sleep to take over me yet it never comes.

My alarm starts to buzz but I dont bother to silence it. I usually never shut it off since these sounds kill the deafening silence which is always a threat to my sanity. I quickly get dressed throwing over a black top and black jeans which reflect my mood today, gloomy. I hear my bestfriend's car park outside my house, rushing down the stairs I grab my bag and keys and fasten my seat belt for yet another day.

"Excited?" asks Ava from the back seat " excited about what?" I ask her a question in return unaware of the reason behind her cheerful behaviour this morning. "Oh! Like I said yesterday your Icy opposite might be back". "So what?" my question is laced with annoyance but she doesn't bother to notice it and carries on " Em stop fakimg your innocence, I just meant the statement of he might be back is outdated now because he is back"

My eyes widen on this news and I take in the fact that he is back.
