The prince and princess of England were, ironically, not born in England. They were born in space, on the planet of Mars 54.6 million kilometers away from Earth. They were not alone, but twins. They grew up together, two privileged children living in a world made up of two types of people. Royalty, and those who helped them. Luckily for them, they were part of the first group. Together they were dragged to endless dinner parties, and diplomatic meetings. Since they could first remember the twins were taught that there was no one left on the desolate planet of Earth. In the entire universe the only humans that existed were those who lived on Mars. Earth was irrelevant. A hollow shell of a planet ruined by human ignorance.

"There is no need to worry your little heads about it." They had been told time and time again, and so the princess decided that she had no reason to worry. If an adult was telling her this information then it must be true.

But the prince felt differently. He developed reoccurring nightmares about a monster that lived on Earth. A monster that was so smart it could find it's way to Mars. Find it's way to his room, underneath his bed, in his closet. Everywhere he would never think to look for it, just waiting to tear him to pieces and take his place. He imagined the scene in his head countless times, coming up with new questions each time. What would this monster look like? Did it have wings? How long would its claws be?

The boy was right about the way the monster would come in the dead of night. He was right about the way it would wrap its hands around his neck when he least expected it. But the prince had never imagined, even in the wildest corners of his imagination, that the monster would look like a furious, leather wearing, teenage girl. Not once in all his childhood had he imagined the monster would whisper

"Your family took mybrother from me, so tonight you are going to die."
