Chapter 1

"Alexandria!" I heard my mom yell.

"What!?"

"It is time for school! You're gonna be late! Again!" It was my freshman year. And all the seniors would make fun of me. I swung my legs off the bed and rubbed my face. I stood up and looked in the mirror at myself. I look horrible. My pajamas weren't the prettiest either. I had a cut off shirt that said, "Angel Undercover" from an old store downtown. My shorts were polka dot and my hair was in a bun. I walked downstairs. I live in a three story house and my grandparents were staying on the second floor while they are still "moving in". I walked past their door into the bathroom to do my morning things. When I got downstairs I was wearing a blue dress with yellow floral and a brown belt with a cardigan. I had on white sandals and my hair was straightened.

"Good morning beauty queen." My dad said and hugged me. "I'm off to work, see you guys tonight." He said while hugging my brothers. He waved and walked out the door. The smell of bacon, eggs, and pancakes filled my nose. My brothers and my sister were already in there. My mother had our lunches already packed. "Okay Luke I have your PB&J like you wanted. Jennifer I have your salad with extra cheese. Kevin I packed you a piece of pizza from dinner last night. And Alex-" I didn't let her finish. "It's okay mom I know." I smiled. "Telling four kids is enough. Oh, and Blue!" I said reaching down to pet our family Rottweiler Blue. I looked at my little family and sighed with a smile. I had two twin brothers who were 6. And a sister who was 12. And of course me, a 14 year old, the oldest. I looked at the clock and grabbed my plate and put it in the sink. We all grabbed our bags and waved at mom. "Alex! Walk them to their home rooms!" I told her okay and gave her a hug. My phone was ringing. It was Kenzie. My best friend.

"You are gonna be late!" She said.

I sighed. "I know. Hectic morning!"

"Okay. Meet me by the water fountain and we'll walk together. Bye!"

"Bye!" I said and hung up.

We walked to school this morning because it was only two minutes away. I walked Luke and Kevin to their classes and then I took Jennifer. She was dressed the same way I was. A dress, straight hair, and sandals. "How does it feel to be in middle school Jen?" I asked her.

She gave me a disapproving face. "Scary."

I patted her back. "Try Freshman!" Then I waved at her and walked into the high school. I spotted Kenzie and ran to her. She gave me an air hug. "Looking nice!" She commented. Then her face went from a smile to a frown. "I need to tell you something."
