The Power Within

Me and Stacy went inside together but we parted ways cause were in different teams. Each team is composed of 5 members and each has a Team Leader and the assistant leader.

I went to search for them and spotted 2 of them in a nearby tree.

"Hey guys." I said with a serious face.
"Hey there heartless!" i cringed as i heard my oh so beautiful nickname.
"ughh not today Tyler." he laughed along with his twin sister Taylor.

yes, they are twins.

Taylor has Light magic and Tyler has Dark magic.
Oh, did i forget to mention about magic? well there you go.

This world is full of magic. But only a few people are born with elemental magic. The common magics are mostly Healing/support magic, Light or dark magic, Moon Magic, Transformation Magic, and lastly elemental magic. the rarest of them all.

My team is complete, we have each and every magic user on hand, we are considered the strongest team here and we represent the school in case the Magica league occurs, the magica league is where  representatives from different groups in different academies are chosen for battle and our academy is always the winner because of our team.

"Where is Faith and Brendon??" I asked.
"I dunno, we'll go check on them." Tyler said while getting up on the ground,
"Wait!! i'll come!!" Said Taylor, quickly sprinting to catch up with her brother.

I sighed as i layed down and rested my shoulders on the tree.. I then closed my eyes...

I awoke because someone was shaking my shoulders only to see it was Brendon.
I sighed and slowly opened my eyes to see my group members complete.

I stood up and told them to begin practice.

after that we were called to Principal Woods office.
As we entered we are formaly greeted.
"Good evening to every one of you." we greeted him as well.
"Do you want to know why i called you in?" he said in a serious voice, and we all nodded with out uttering a word.
He coughed a bit.
"Well I am expecting for you to train hard in these upcoming months. Because the Magica League is near. And you guys are the representatives again. Congratulations." I was expecting him to say that so i nodded.
"Thank you for trusting us Principal Woods, we shall do our best and not let you down."
He smiled and nodded.
"All of you are dismissed. Except for you Ms. Demetria."
All of them stood up from their chairs and went out.
"Ms. Demetria." He said, I gave him a small smile.
"You contain one of the elemental magics. And i believe in you dear, stay strong no matter what happens. Don't trust anyone too easily, understood?"
I made a wiered face. I wonder why he's saying this. I just nodded "Yes sir."
He smiled and told me i was excused. So  I went outside to find my team.

As i was searching for them i happen to look uppon a tree and i saw something glisten.

Was someone watching me? I'm pretty sure i saw a figure...

hmp oh well. I just shrugged it off and went to practice.

I was smirking so hard while my team mates were basically dying of laughter because one of the new dudes in the school, i think his name was Derek, challenged me into a duel and called me a weak chick.

He had a big frame, but a big muscular body wont do anything if you dont have the brains, skill, and experience.

So i practically just wooped his ass.

"psh, instead of acting like a bull catching the red flag try using your brain sometimes. It can help." i said coldly.

He was on the ground, breathing like it was his last breath.

I hate people who are so over confident in themselves. sheesh...
and so i just left him there.

After many trainings me and Stace met at the schools gate and walked to our dorms.
Our dorms are quite far from our school which really sucks.
They said the reason they made it so far is so we could have morning trainings of jogging, walking, or running.

There are 2 people in each dorm. It was an okay size i guess and i was lucky to live with my best friend.

Yep. Stacy is my best friend, she's actually the only person who has seen me smile wide and bright, and she's the only person who has heard me laugh.

She is the complete opposite of me. She is kind, bubbly, and noisy while me? I'm cold, heartless, and quiet. But she Brightens up the darkness within me and thats why i love her, even if i dont show it.
Oh.. and She has Healing Magic.

"Soooooooooooo......... hows your dayyy??" she asked happily.
"Its fine, i guess..We're representing the school in the upcoming Magica League again." I said, not really showing any signs of being exited or happy.
"OMG REALLY?!?!" she screamed like there was no tomorrow. Which basically crushed my eardrums. I just nodded.
"wowwww!! thats so cool!! i really wish i was in your team tho... but still!! I hope you guys win!!" she leaned a little closer and whispered "Take care of Brendon for me alright??" I laughed a bit "Ofcourse i'll make sure he's alive and well." after i said that she smiled widely and went ahead of me.

I sensed someone was watching us. But i didnt let that bother me..

We just went home with no sounds and just went to bed.

I was tired of all the practice anyway.
