Ai Mikaze x Reader Mechanical Love

Freezing

I wander off calling for Cecil, now beginning to worry i realise I've lost the rest of my group. Oh for gods sake. I try to find the path but can hardly see anything threw the dark plus to make things worse fog has started to come down quite heavy.

"Arghhh!!" I twist my ankle and fall down a slope slamming against the rocks at the bottom. Everything turns fuzzy then turns to complete darkness.

Otoya P.O.V
Seriously Cecil is sat in a tree again, i swear he's out of the Jungle book but anyway we need to get back on track or we are going to lose for sure. "Hey! Cecil! Get down and come on we need to get going!". Cecil nods and jumps down infront of me.

"Where the hell is (y/n)? (Y/n)!!" I shout hoping she hasn't gone far.

"I saw her head off that way looking for Cecil" nagi speaks up pointing in a direction.

"And you didn't think to follow her or tell us?" My frustration with Nagi wearing thin.

"Hey i didn't think she needed a babysitter, im sure she can cope on her own" nagi argues back.

"No i know she can handle herself but she didn't have a torch and there's a lot of fog now, she could easily be lost or hurt or even.." I get cut off by Reiji.

"Otoya don't assume the worst, we will find her or Ai is going to kill us anyway".

Ai P.O.V
Im sure i heard (y/n) scream,"did you guys hear (y/n) or was it just me?".

"Aww Ai you must be in love to hear her even when she's not here" Ranmaru teases.

I punch him in the arm to shut him up, "no im sure i heard her scream" i take out my phone and ring her but no answer. I have a bad feeling.

"(Y/n)!! (Y/n)!!" the shouting in the distance worries me even more. I can see the torchs of the others wizzing around like mad through the trees as if searching for something or... someone. I storm off towards them hoping to find (y/n) to make sure she's okay, while the rest of my group trails behind.

"Hey! Hey reiji!" i yell running over to group A. "Where's (y/n)?"

They all look at me with blank expressions. then Nagi breaks the silence "all i can say is your definitely psychic or something... Or maybe your robot system is hard wired to (y/n)" he laughs but no one else is amused.

"Wheres (y/n)?" I repeat wanting a straight answer.

"She got lost when we were looking for Cecil" Syo says looking angrily at Cecil.

"Seriously?" I walk of to go find (y/n), who knows whats happened.

Haruka P.O.V
"Come on, we had all better look, i hate the thought... of her being alone out there especially... in this icy.... wind" i mutter threw my chattering teeth.

"Wait guys what about the hunt" Nagi shouts making us all turn back to him with a serious look on all of our faces which made Nagi speechless.

"Nagi we need to find (y/n) now get on with it" Tokiya scolds.

Ai P.O.V
I may not have a light but luckily im a robot and my eyes can see so clearly, so don't worry (y/n) i will find you.

I must be about a mile deep into the forest now. There's a steep hill making the edge of a dried up river. I doubt she would have come this far, im about to walk away when i see a black wing further along the edge. I run over, kneeling down to pick it up. Its hers. I lean over the edge and see the thing i most dreaded. (Y/n)s limp and silent body lying on the rocks, blood covered her beautiful face. I skid down the muddy and dangerous slope to reach her. I feel for her pulse, shes still alive but barely, she's so cold so i cover her with my jacket. Lifting her up bridal style, trying not to injure her anymore than she already is and as i do so i use my robot scanner to check her and luckily nothing is broken. I connect to my phone to let everyone know i found her and call an ambulance at the same time.

I approach the entrance of the forest and see everyone waiting anxiously to see (y/n).

Syo, Otoya, Cecil, Reiji, kira and even Nagi were the first ones to rush over. "We are so sorry (y/n)" they all say one by one. I was filled with so much rage towards them for letting her get hurt this bad but i shouldn't have left her side and i never will again.

I place her into the ambulance and watch it drive away as we all stumble back onto the coach and head home but they drop me off at the hospital on the way.

I sit by (y/n) bed all night holding her hand. She finally awakes in the afternoon the next day.

Y/n P.O.V
I open my eyes to see Ai asleep with his head on my hospital bed and my hand wrapped in his. I smile at the sight and use my other hand to stroke his soft aqua blue hair. He rises with a shocked expression plastered across his face. He doesn't even let me speak before he kisses me. A kiss that felt like it lasted a century as if to make up for the time we were apart.

I got let out of the hospital early because of Ai, he found me so quickly that night if he didn't it could have been a lot worse. All week everyone had been in to see me with flowers and cards but im able to go back to the dorms today and i cant wait to see them all especially since tonight is bonfire night.

Ai came to pick me up and when we arrived there was a welcome home party for me and later on Ai took me to the balcony and we watched the fireworks together, it was so romantic but also funny because seeing the others trying to run when they lit the rockets was hilarious.

Sorry about this chapter i think i might have rushed it coz i wrote it so late but please just bare with it. Hopefully the next chapter will be better. 😊x
