Chapter 6 - Convenience Store

Young Jin's POV

I woke up by the sound of my alarm and shouting from downstairs. I didn't bother fixing my hair. I went out of my room, and peeked downstairs.

"JI YEON! DIDN'T YOU KNOW THE RULES!? HUH!?" Father slapped Ji Yeon's face and exploded.

"Ji Yeon, you're lucky that Young Jin or even Tae Kwon didn't report about you. Or else, where should I hide my face?! You're so lucky to have secretive siblings. I've told you don't overreact, haven't I? Only me and Father could!" Mother exploded while stomping on the floor.

"Gosh, I've had enough dramas already." I murmured to myself and went back in my room to have a shower. I wore my school uniform and my hair into a messy bun and added a red ribbon that I always wear to school. I went downstairs. But, before I go. I peeked from the stairs.

"Hooh! Coast is clear." I whispered and went downstairs. I didn't packed my lunch because I didn't cook. I went out, took my bike and went to school.

I arrived at school and parked my bike at the provided place.

"Oh? Tae Kwon-ah!" I ran towards Tae Kwon at his locker.

"Oh, cutie pie. What is it?" He cupped my cheeks.

"Um... I'm just wondering if you heard the conversation this morning." I asked while he is still cupping my cheeks.

"Oh! The conversation Mother, Father and Ji Yeon had? Of course. They were bothering my peaceful sleep." Tae Kwon said. Still cupping my cheeks.

I could feel all the girls were glaring at me and Tae Kwon.

"Tae Kwon-ah, I have something to tell you." I said. Tae Kwon was seriously still cupping my cheeks.

"What is it baby girl?" 'Did he just called me.... Baby girl? But why? You should just call me Young Jin. Please....'

"Well, you won't believe it but, I'm going to debut the next two months. I'm going to BigHit Entertainment next month. Please don't tell anyone about it!" I pouted.

"What? Seriously? I'm gonna be your number one fan! Yahoo! Go, ,YJ! I can't wait for your album. And songs. And and-," Tae Kwon was cut by me.

"But there's one problem. I, don't have any money so I'm working at a convenience store down the street. I got night shift." I told Tae Kwon.

"What? You should just ask me for money. It's okay. Father won't know." Tae Kwon said sweetly with his smile.

"It's okay. I'm gonna use my own money. Oh! I gotta go. See you later." I bid him a goodbye and ran to class.

It was music so I ran to the music room. Luckily I got there in time. I saw Ji Yeon at the piano playing random notes. Her head was down. I wanted to comfort her, but, I don't want to pick up a fight. So, I just wait for the teacher to come. I sat on the piano and played a song.

I played it while waiting for the teacher to come. I could hear Ji Yeon's sobbing. 'She-she's crying. I should go comfort her.'

"Ji Yeon-ah." She pulled me into a hug.

"Young Jin-ah.... I'm sorry... For what I did to you. I deserved this mornings slap from F-Father. I'm s-sorry Y-Young Jin." She started to cry louder.
