Chapter 3. Im sorry, its just not fair

We got back home from the bowling house and we were standing infront of our house. We had drove Liza home. "Guys" Arthur said. "Yeah?" We asked. "I think I left my keys in the bowling house.. I'll be right back" he said. "Okay" I said. We went inside the house with Kells as Arthur went to look for his keys. He always looses his things. "Would you want something to drink?" I asked Kells. "No thanks. You were good at bowling btw" he said. "Noo stop lying I totally sucked and you know it" I said laughing. He laughed.
I went by the sink and poured myself a glass of water. Suddenly I feel Kells putting his arms around my waist slowly swinging behind me.
It felt so good.. But I knew it was wrong
"Kells we cant do this" I said. "What do you mean?" He asked. "You're my brothers friend.." I said. He wouldnt let go. "So what?" He asked. "Its not fair to A" I said. "Well lets not tell him" He said. "Youre such a bad friend" I said laughing. He laughed. He turned me around and took the glass out of my hand. He put it aside and lifted me up on the counter. He held me there and reached in to kiss me. We almost kissed but I broke it by slightly pushing him away. "Evelyn" He said. I walked away slowly. "Im sorry. Its just not fair" I said. "I cant believe I have a crush on a girl who doesnt want me beacuse of her brother" He said. I turned around. "Maybe you should go" I said. "Go where?" He asked. "Home" I said.
He walked to me taking my hand. "I am Home" he said. I was quiet. I saw Arthur park in front of the house. I let go of his hand and walked into my room closing the door after me. I took my phone and texted Liza. She had texted me once. "Hey gurl! How's it going with Kells? Did ya'll have sex or why are you so quiet?" The text said. "No. We didnt. And I dont want to. Its just not fair. To Arthur. Kells is his friend and he's happy with him. I dont want to ruin their friendship" I texted. A couple of minutes went by and Liza responded: "oh im sorry. Just be friends with Kells if it seems like a better option" She texted.
