"seokjin, it's been a year now. how are you?"
i sighed as i realized i was talking to no one yet i could still feel his prescense. the wind whispers to me "i am fine"
i layed down the bouquet of baby's breath on his grave, brushed off the dust on his tombstone. on it, was his name embossed.
"rest well, jin. you're with your family now and i'm doubting no more that you're indeed fine and happy. i miss you!"
"thanks for this anyways" i added, sliding the ring on my finger.
" 'promises are meant to be broken' they said. look at us, jin. ten years full of hardships and happiness passes yet we made it up to this point. i fullfilled my promise, didn't i? not all finger locks can be separated, indeed."
i chuckled to myself saying nonsense words to the air. tears came to me soon but the warm atmosphere hugged me in the midst of the winter breeze.
it was just like how seokjin used to comfort me when he sees me crying.
"i love you. let's be happy" i ended.
