Anjali Jha was the first girl in the Raizada family after almost five generations of only boy children. Hence she was the apple of everyone's eyes. From the time of her birth, she was pampered and loved by everyone. Her all wishes are fulfilled even before she could name it. None of her brothers were loved and pampered so much.

Even her brothers loved her a lot and gave her everything that she wanted. This made her more stubborn and demanded. She always ruled over everyone in Raizada family. Due to their love for Anjali, they always neglected her wrong doings. They always supported her irrespective of the fact that she was right or wrong.

Being the eldest among her siblings, she always bossed over them and they also followed her every words without fail. They never refused her and fulfilled all her whims and fancies. This increased her bossy nature.

Being the elder brother, Arnav always had an influence on his younger siblings. They loved and respected him for his nature. So to always keep the reign in her control, Anjali always used to make Arnav her bait. Even though she loved her brother, her quest for power on her family members made her use her brother's love for her as an opportunity to get her goal.

Anjali always wanted the control of Raizada family in her hands. For that she wanted to have Arnav in her control. This made her find ways to keep him in her hands. So she found Sheetal perfect for Arnav. According to Anjali, Sheetal was an innocent, naive girl who believed and did whatever Anjali asked her to do. Anjali thought that if Sheetal comes in Arnav's life, then she could rule over both Arnav and Sheetal and thus the Raizada family will be under her control.

Her family always pampered her and fulfilled all her wishes. When she was 20 year old, she met Shyam in a client's party in which she went with her parents. His soft and lovely nature appealed her. It was a love at first sight for Anjali. She wanted to pursue him but Shyam even though liked Anjali was against this relation due to their difference in social status and family background.

Shyam was an orphan who lost his parents at a very young age. He was brought up in an orphanage and always had simple dreams. He was an upcoming lawyer at that time. Having been living in an rented apartment with his friend, Shyam wasn't ready to marry Anjali and bring her as his wife when he himself had no permanent means of livelihood.

But Anjali being the stubborn one didn't gave up. Shyam's excuses of their difference in social background or his lack of handsome income, wasn't something that could stop her. So with her stubbornness, finally Anjali made him agree for her love. Shyam wanted to wait for some years to get married so that he could get settled in life and provide a good life to Anjali.

Here again Anjali wasn't ready. She wanted to get married soon. She wasn't ready to wait. She feared that if he get successful before their marriage then some other girl would snatch him from her. She was very possessive of him. Shyam's numerous tries to make her understand went in vain. Anjali was firm in her decision and didn't budge to anyone's tries. Finally not being able to fight her stubbornness anymore, everyone agreed for marriage.

After marriage, Shyam agreed to stay at Raizada Mansion for Anjali's happiness. Shyam was always a man of principles. He never compromised with his self respect. Even though he lived in Raizada he always insisted to fulfill his and his wife's needs with his own money. Raizadas also always kept his respect and never argued with his decision. Soon due to his hard work, Shyam reached heights.

He made his own house and wanted to live there with Anjali. But Anjali and Raizadas refused him and insisted him to stay with them. Finally after lot of argument he agreed as he couldn't say no to the loving family. Also being an orphan, when he got a family's love, he wanted to be a little selfish and not loose the opportunity to stay with a family which he never got after his parents' death.
