Ryder's POV
Me and chase saw star go to the office and she was talking to an older woman and a little boy, the woman had a worried sad look and the little boy was looking down, she looked over at us sensing someone was looking at her and she glared so we looked down but we stayed there. Once she looked away we looked back at the office and star grabbed the boys face and made him look at her, she then said something and the boys face lit up and he looked at the woman and she nodded her head and star and the boy and star walked out of the office but before giving me a second look.
"have you ever seen her smile?" chase asked me
"nope" I said as I watched the little boy and star walk out of the school with the woman behind...maybe its her mom and brother.
After school chase and I went to my house and then once we got my house I spoke up.
"lets make a bet" I said and then chase looked at me with an eyebrow raised.
"sure...what kind of bet" he asked
"I can get any girl I want" I said and then chase went into thinking mode and then his eyes lit up.
"ok...if that's true, I get to pick the girl" he said and I nodded my head.
"the girl I pick you have to get a date with her and kiss in 2 weeks, and that girl is...star" he said and once he said that my eyes went wide, knowing I wont be able to do that.
"what if I win the bet" I asked and then chase went back into thinking mode and then he had an idea pop in his head.
"then you get to embarrass me in front of the whole school " he said and then I nodded my head.
"what if I lose" I asked
"then I get to embarrass you in front of the school" he said and then I thought about and we shook hands and that when I realized...I have to get a date and a kiss from the one and only star fields in the next two weeks...what did I get myself into?
