Chapter nine

Yoongi felt his heart break at her words he wanted for her not to be this way but he knew there was going to be nothing that he could say or do to make her change her mind. She already had a goal in mind and he knew that she was going with her father to let the guys all go, or that's what she thought she was doing. Her father got back up and walked over to her, "Ha that's so funny your mother said the exact same thing before I killed her, like mother like daughter."

He grabbed her by her head and dragged her away, leaving the guys in absolute terror. The fear of things that were about to happen to her rushed through all of their heads while Yoongi he was just broken. He wanted her to be with him in his arms not to be fearful of what was to come. After about a couple of hours the guys heard an ear piercing scream come from above, "YOONGI!!!!! S-SORRY!!!!" They heard her scream.

All of the guys dropped to their knees in fear and sorrow crying after hearing her screams, Yoongi's heart snapped as he felt an icy blade pierce through his heart as the one he loved was just above him being tortured. Yoongi needed to think quick so he did the best he could to try and get to her, "Guys come on we have to go get her back!" He yelled, he took out his phone and hacked into the system, "Come on I found a way to get to her!" The guys all got up and followed him.

He was able to hack into the system and find a secret passageway to where Iris was. Once they finally made it up to where she was all of their eyes grew big in terror from the sight of her, "S-sorry y-you have to s-see me like this." She said as she coughed up blood. They looked to her side to see a knife in her as her step mother stood on the side with a wicked smile spread across her face, her father stood behind her holding a gun to her head, "Any last words to your friends before your dead like your mother. Although I must say you didn't put up a fight like I hoped."

"Why?" She asked breathlessly to her father, "Why you ask? Why, is that all you can say?!" He said laughing like a maniac as he brought the gun even closer to her head, "N-No!" Said a male voice making everyone look in his direction, "Yoongi." Iris whispered, "Listen here! Don't get in the way I will let you all go once I finish her off." Her father said to all of the guys making their eyes go wide.

"What the actual fuck is wrong with you?!" Yoongi yelled out in anger and frustration with the other, "She's your fucking daughter!! And yet you want to kill her?! What the hell man!!!" Yoongi was getting furious with the man. Meanwhile there was a loud sounding of a gunshot in the room they all looked to see her father shot in the chest, they all looked to the direction to where it came from to see that Jungkook had shot him.

Then there was another gunshot and a ear bleeding screaming sound that filled the air, "IRIS NO!" Yoongi turned to see Iris shot in the shoulder by the gun her father had in his hands, "I won't go down alone!" Her father said and shot his wife in the chest as she dropped down to the floor with a loud scream and thud as her dead lifeless body hit the ground. The guys all rushed over to Iris's side, "Your fine ok everything is going to be fine!" Jin said alarmed.

They all exited the building and took Iris straight to the hospital, "HELP WE NEED HELP!!" Hoseok screamed out to get the attention of the nurses and doctors who all rushed over, "What happened?!" One of them said as they were taking Iris out of Yoongi's grip, "Sh-she was shot in her shoulder and had a knife jabbed into her side." Yoongi said hoping for the doctors and nurses not to ask too many questions. Which thankfully they didn't and they took her and rushed her into surgery.

The guys all waited in the waiting room for many hours waiting to hear something anything that could reassure Iris that's she was fine, any news at this point is all they wanted to hear. Jin and Namjoon had went to go get food for the others, "Here you go guys." Jin brought some food over to Yoongi who just blankly stared at it, "Come on Yoongi you have to eat something." Jin said to him as he rubbed his back to try and calm him down.

"How do expect me to eat after everything I just saw today??" He questioned, earning all of the memebers to turn their head in his direction, "Yoongi you've seen people get hurt like this and I know that you hate it to see people you care about hurt but why is she so much to you? You don't really even know her except for the time that we spent in that hell hole." Namjoon asked getting a little frustrated with Yoongi.

"I don't know whenever I'm with her I feel things in my chest and I hate to see her in pain and the thought of losing her after she did nothing to her own family who wanted her dead just kills me. I want to know she is going to be ok, like she said she is the way she is due to her past, let's face it would any of us really be all in a gang together if we weren't just trying to escape our pasts. What hurts us the most are we really not trying to hide our weaknesses with a strong persona that makes people fear us all because we hate what we were in the past?" He said making everyone look down stuck in their deep thoughts.

"You have a good point Hyung." Jungkook was the first to speak up, " We all are trying to escape our pasts like her, but something doesn't add up here." He said and then went back into thought, "I-Is it possible that y-you l-love her Hyung?" Jimin then asked making everyone look at Yoongi who kept his head down, "I don't know, I really do care about her and don't want her to be in this state, but at the same time I don't want to love her something tells me that I shouldn't love her." He says looking down tears threatening to stream down.

His hands trembling at the thought of possibly being in love just terrifies him. He doesn't want to get hurt, part of him tells him that he should go for it and confess to her but the other part of him tells him no that she would never return his feelings ever. That's the thought that absolutely terrifies him the most the fear of her rejecting him, but the fear of losing her to death is what's scaring him the most at this very moment.

"Min Yoongi?" A Doctor came out, "Yes." He answered, "Lee Iris would like to see you." The doctor said. Everyone looked to him as he disappeared with the doctor. Once he got there his heart stopped as he saw her hooked up with wires, "Yoongi!" She said reaching her hand out for him. He walked over to her grabbing on her hand tears threatening the corners of his eyes, "Hey Iris." She looked up to him tears streaming down her face.

"Thank you Yoongi." He looked at her confused, "For what?" She chuckled, "For caring about me but I don't want to hurt you." She said crying even harder, "What do you mean, you can't hurt me no matter how hard headed you are I'll still have feelings for you." She laughed, "Come here." He leaned down to her level and she grabbed ahold of his face and gave him a peck on the lips, "Take care of the guys and my precious little doggy Kookie, I love you Yoongi." She said as she let go of his face.

She rested her head on the pillow as her eyes rolled to the back of her head as she spasms in place tears streaming down her face, "I'll wait and always love you." She whispered as the nurses and doctors all came rushing into the room pushing Yoongi out. He waited outside of her room watching all of the doctors and nurses take care of her, her words repeating in his mind, "I'll always love you too Lee Iris." He barely got out as he crouched down on the floor letting out all of his tears run down his cheeks.

After a couple of hours the doctor came out and saw Yoongi sitting in a ball by the wall outside of her room, "I'm sorry we couldn't save her." The words rang through Yoongi's ears making him cry even harder, he calmed down for a bit and went out to the rest of the guys. They all looked to him, "I-Is she Ok?" Hoseok asked making Yoongi break down again, "Sh-she's gone." He whispered barely loud enough for the others to hear.

"Wh-what?" Taehyung asked, "SHE'S GONE!!" He shouted this time loosing it, all of the guys came around taking him in an embrace telling him that everything will be ok, "D-Did she say anything?" Jungkook asked, "Sh-She told me that she, she loves me and wants me to take care of you all and her little man Kookie." He said with his gummy smile as he remembered the kiss.

"Anything else?" Jimin asked anxiously, "Oh nothing else happened really." He said smirking to himself he didn't want to say that they kissed instead he kept that as a little memory for himself to enjoy.
