Matteo's emotions reveal more than can be seen in the series. His feelings are just as colorful as a rainbow and his relationship with Luna showed him that he may have been wrong - or rather, wrongly loved. Such an emotional chaos with Luna came about because he was not even aware of his feelings. He had never been in love with Luna - but with Gastón.
The Prehistory
Luna is a 16-year-old girl who lives with her family in Cancún, Mexico. One day her parents will receive a job offer from Señora Benson, which they cannot possibly refuse. The next morning, the Valente family must leave their homeland and move to Buenos Aires, Argentina. Now much is changing in Luna's life, because the rich employer of her parents allows Luna to go to an elite school. Luna, however, finds the new life very difficult; she misses her home, her friends and above all her best friend Simón.
But that's not all, because Luna has a mysterious past. She was adopted at the age of two years and named after a moon amulet, which she wore around her neck. Her new family loves her more than anything else and has never kept a secret about her adoption. However, after moving to Argentina, Luna is suddenly caught up with her past and the tragic death of her parents.
Luna finds comfort in the Jam & Roller, a roller skating rink in her new home country, where she can prove her talent not only on rolls, but also on stage at the Open Music Nights. There she also finds many new friends like Nina. Nina becomes Luna's best friend and always stands by her side when she needs help. But she can't make friends with everyone. This includes the clique of Ámbar, Jazmin and Delfina, who make life difficult for her. When she meets Ámbar's boyfriend, Buenos Aires Matteo, who she immediately falls in love with, but without noticing and also shows up Simón, who is however in love with Luna, her new world is tangled up.
Luna has a short relationship with her best friend Simón. However, this is condemned because of the chaos of feelings that Luna is going through. She gets to know Matteo better and is getting closer to him. The two of them also start a relationship. However, this was marked by problems, as Matteo put his musical career ahead of Luna. Eventually, this love ran into a dead end. Luna is quite sure of her feelings about Matteo - but Matteo is not.
The story
Matteo's point of view
There I am now - all alone at the harbour. Waiting for me next to the bridge. I let my leg full of fear of the water hang down the footbridge and slowly try to understand what is going on inside of me. I still can't realize that this was the end of Luna. To be quite honest, I can't really know whether I should be feeling well or not. My facial expression literally screams despair out of me at a time when I am unable to say one word myself. As much as I have wished for it, I do not understand what is happening to me. All the time, during the relationship, I kept telling myself I was gonna love her. I even ruined my whole social life just to follow this thought. Well, now that months have passed, I'm still unsure.
I go through everything in my head again and try to sort things out slowly. The people passing by are not that helpful. In my impossibility of organizing myself, I just start to look quietly at the bridge. This lace bow at the end represents so many feelings at once. It shows my anger at myself, my sadness and my imperfection. When I was still with Luna, I had hoped to be able to satisfy this missing feeling of a missing person walking through the park at night, just to make people call someone a cute couple. It didn't work out. I'm still at a never-ending beginning and I don't know what to do.
So I remain seated without forgiving myself in any way whatsoever. It's obvious to me, I can't be normal anymore. Again I look at my shiny reflection in the seawater. The reflected city is shining again today - as it has been in Italy, my home country. With this thought I feel sudden peace. But this should soon be disturbed. It was my best friend who was looking for me in a hurry. Suddenly I realized something. How could I have been so blind? It was Gastón.
