"Tyler told me you were with a vampire" my dad said in a stern voice. "I didn't know he was a vampire. I mean come on I'm surrounded by werewolves on the reservation. How was i supposed to know what a vampire smelled like." he grabs me by the shoulders and let's out a deep sigh," Well now you know and knowing is half the battle Dill Pickle. Please just next time be careful." I nod my head in agreement even thought i have every intention in disobeying what he just said. Then my father gives me a kiss on the cheek and walks off i guess going to bed.
I walked to my room and slumped down on the bed and let out a sigh. I stared at the ceiling for a few moments and then turned my gaze to the moon i then started to think about Liam. Which is I know is awkward since he isn't a werewolf but it's just something about the moon that reminded me of him. I finally got up and took a shower washing the smell of vampire off of me because I know everyone would say something.
I stepped out of the shower and grabbed the towel and tucked in the corner. I walked to my dresser and pulled it out and then i heard my phone buzz. It was a number i didn't know, i picked it up anyway. "Hello" i said unsure of the response I was going to get. "Hi Dylan it's Liam" he said as he was chuckling. "I tried not to call you so soon. What are you doing?" "Actually you're just catching me getting out of the shower" I said chuckling.
"I bet you look hot." "I know you can't see me but I'm blushing. And why did i just tell you that? Just scratch what i just said and act like you didn't hear that. Ummm is there a reason you called or did you just want to talk?" There was silence for a few moments but then he finally spoke "I was wondering if you wanted to come to my cabin to hang for a little bit." Well that explains the smell of woods. "Ummm sure where do you prefer we meet?" "How about the coffee shop in town you know it's a little ways from the college campus here." "Okay how about 5:00 my father will be in a meeting around that time." "That's great. See you then." he says happily. "Alright. Talk to you later Liam." I then hung up the phone.
This was going to be good i thought. I turned back to my dresser and pulled out some gym shorts and a blue tank. Then I pulled out the bottom drawer and grabbed a bra and underwear (I'm sorry I really don't like the word panties). I slipped into them and my clothes and fell onto the bed and just layed there for a few moment my mind blank. Probably the only moment my mind was clear of things in my whole entire life. I think because things were going great right now. I mean dad was caught up in his studies and my "brother" Dorian was soon going to become Alpha I'm just glad it wasn't me. The pack would have a fit a Hybrid being the Alpha? Yeah right. Plus your girl had a date tomorrow with a sexy vampire and i didn't mind even though i was taught to hate them. How could you hate something that was part of you. So i relished the moment for now because things were going to get hectic pretty soon. My eyes Started to droop so I closed them and I drifted to sleep.
I woke up the thoughts drifting right back and I wish last night would've lasted longer. I sat up and stretched then pushed my hair out of my face. I pulled the covers off and looked at the clock it was 9 in the morning. I walked to the bathroom and splashed my face with water trying to wake up. Then Ricky this guy who is my childhood friend had black hair well just give you an idea he looks like Zayn from one direction. Slipped into the bathroom shirtless and closed the door. I turned around him and smiled and stared at his chest. Not going lie this boy was pretty cut up. Then i noticed him staring at me with smirk on his face.
"Umm can i help you??" i said tearing my eyes away from his chest blushing a little bit. I looked down at the floor I just couldn't look him the eyes because I know what kind of look he would have on his sculpted face. "Yeah. I wanted to surprise you and ask if you wanted to go on a run and then after we could go eat. You Know something like the that." his voice starting break a little in that sentence. He looked away and stared at the ground same as me and then I finally looked up at him. He was still staring at the ground.
"I'd love to but not today I've got something brewing you know with my brother becoming Alpha soon" i said getting really bold and grabbing his hips and pulling him closer and standing on my tippy-toes to kiss him on the cheek. I don't know what came over me but he nodded his head and he seemed really disappointed. When I pulled away he said the most awkward thing,"You Know there's still a chance it could be you." he said finally staring at me."Well that's very nice of you say but there's no way I'm a hybrid it's not happening. The pack wouldn't let my father hear the end of it when he did." he takes his hand and tilts my chin. "The pack loves you and wouldn't have nothing to say but good things if you became Alpha plus it would empower the girls 1st female hybrid to become Alpha just imagine." I started to shake my head,"I don't want to! You Keep forgetting I'm a fucking monster! I've killed people before! But to keep all you from finding out I lied!" I yelled my eyes starting to water. "The pack deserves better than me you of all people should know that by now" I said settling down and looking at his scar across on his shoulder. Well when I was a few years old I couldn't control my anger and I was blood thirsty all the time and Ricky pissed me off and my teeth left a mark on him. I reached my hand to it and started rubbing it. Even though he had forgiven me as soon as I did it I never could. He wiped my tears away nodded his head and kissed my cheek and opened the bathroom door and left. I turned back to the mirror and I plugged in my straightener and straightened my natural curly hair.
When I was finally finished I pulled out some skinny jeans, a black vest, and a white tank to wear under and last but not least I pulled out my brand new traditional black and white chucks. As soon as I got done tying my chucks i grabbed my pea-coat and slipped my iPhone into the pocket and slipped out of the house. I didn't live that far from the coffee shop so just walked there to pass time because I looked at my watch and it was just now 12. Great I was early........way early. So i kept walking and i got there at about 1:30 so since i was three hours and 30 minutes early I was going to walk around until I saw that Liam was already there. I walked in and saw him sitting there with a cup of coffee casually sipping it. Then he saw me and smiled from ear to ear. "Hey Hollie I'll take my usual." I said I waved to her. And She eyed me the table I walking to and she looked back to me with questioning eyes She was asking if i was with him and i nodded my head she then smiled at me. I took a seat in front of him. "I want you to meet someone when we go back to my place" Already really I mean come on dude we just got together scratch that we weren't even together yet. "Who?" I said. "It's a surprise" He said taking sip of his coffee.
