Camila's POV
"She looked so hot China!" I sighed my chin resting in my palm. Smiling at the memory of Lauren.
"I'm telling you, Walz. I think she likes you. Trust me your groceries isn't the only thing she checks out at the store." Dinah smirked
"Like there's anyway possible that Lauren Jauregui has a crush on me." I scoffed eating a grape
"It's possible!" She said "You need to talk to her again!"
Lauren's POV
"Ugh, I closed the store last night. Got home late and barely slept." I yawned
"Aww, poor baby." Ally smiled rubbing my back
"I think I'm going to take a nap next period." I mumbled before taking a sip of my water.
"Look who's heading this way." Keana smirked as she nudged me . I smiled seeing Camila slowly but nervously approaching the lunch table
"Hi, Lauren." The cute brunette smiled waving
"Hi." I grinned waving back
"Lauren, I was wondering if, um. If.....if you had the home work assignment for AP Environmental Science?" She asked nervously
"I can't say I do. Seeing as though I'm not in that class." I chuckled
"Oh, I um. I have to go." Was all she said before blushing and walking away quickly
"She's so cute." I smiled
"Is she the girl you're always checking out at work?" Maia asked with a smirk
"Perhaps." I grinned
"If I didn't know any better I'd say she has a crush on you." Harry smirked
"You think?" I asked smiling
"For sure." He nodded
"You should ask her out, Laur!" Ally suggested
"Hmm." I nodded thinking about it

Camila's POV
"It was embarrassing." I whined walking down the hall with Dinah
"What was embarrassing?" Normani asked joining us. Quickly giving her girlfriend a hug
"Walz, talked to green eyes." Dinah laughed
"Aww. Good job, Mila!" Normani smiled at me
"No, not good job." I sighed "I walked up her to at lunch asking her if she knew if we had homework for AP Environmental Science."
"I thought she wasn't in that class." Normani furrowed her eyebrows
"She's not." Dinah laughed
"Oh, honey." Normani chuckled
"We'll see you later, Walz." Dinah waved as she and her girlfriend walked into the same classroom
My last period was an art class. I had an elective available on my schedule so I signed up for art. What I liked about that class was that Lauren was in it. I personally was terrible at art so I kind of despised the class.
I sighed sitting down on the stool. Not many people were in the class so there wasn't anyone who sat beside me luckily. Only one or two other people sat at my table.
"Hey, mind if I sit here?"I heard someone say, out of the corner of my eye I saw them take a seat next to me.
"No of-"was all I got out before seeing that it was Lauren who was next to me
"Sorry I couldn't give you the assignment for AP Environmental Science." She chuckled
"Oh my gosh." I covered my face with my hands turning red
"All of our encounters have been somewhat odd. You falling on me, admiring me whilst I run, and asking me about homework assignments for a class I'm not even in." She smirked
"I'm so sorry." I apologized. My face was probably as red as a tomato
"No need to apologize, you're very cute." She smiled
"You're making me blush so much." I smiled
"I know, I'm enjoying seeing this effect I have on you." She grinned "My friend Maia's birthday is this weekend. She's throwing a party and I was wondering if you wanted to go."
"You're inviting ME to a party?" I asked
"Yeah." She nodded "If you want you can bring a friend or two so you feel more comfortable."
"Are you sure Maia won't mind?"
"The more the merrier," she winked "Maia was the one who encouraged I invite you."
"I'll think about it." I answered unsure on whether or not I wanted to go.
"Why don't you give me your number, that way if you decide to I can text you the details?" She suggested
"Okay." I smiled picking up my phone

"Hey. China and Mani what are you two doing this weekend?" I asked on our way home
"Each other." Dinah smirked looking at her girlfriend who was driving
"Babe!" Normani playfully rolled her eyes at her girlfriend
"We're doing nothing, why?" Normani asked looking at me through the rearview mirror
"Lauren invited me to a party and said I could bring a friend or two."
"Lauren Jauregui invited you to a party?" Dinah turned around immediately
"Yes." I nodded
"Oh we're definitely going. I heard their parties are amazing. But the fact she invited you, that's amazing! That's like a date almost!" Dinah said
"A date with half the school there?" I laughed
"Baby steps," she shrugged
