I walked home with Bokuto and was caught in remembering.

That first day of class I was sitting at my desk during lunch alone when the hyper late student sat with me.

"Hi, Bokuto right?"

"Yup! Say I hear that there's a volleyball club here, are they any good?"

"Volleyball? Sorry I have no idea. That's the one where there are spiders and blockers?"

"Yeah! I'm a spiker! I did great in middle school. Come on let's go find out if they're practicing during lunch." I hesitated but figured I would humor the guy. He didn't seem to have any friends. Next to my shyness though he was like a firecracker. We were quite the pair. When we had found the club he immediately asked to join in. I was about to leave when I heard a smack and looked to see Bokuto's spike firsthand.

After a few days he asked if I would join as a manager and I wouldn't have to do anything. I accepted and soon we had our first practice with non other than Nekoma.

Kuroo was, let's just say Bokuto's motivated it seems. EverywhereBokuto needed to spike,Kuroo was there and because of this he was determined to outrage the Nekoma blocker. As frustrated as he was with our loss, he was in high spirits and Kuroo and him talked afterwards.

Bokuto had pulled him over to talk to me after the game.

"Oh hi, you're Nekoma's newest blocker right? You were chasing my spiker all over the place." I said. "He's still not as great as our elders either, same goes for you, an I wrong?"

"Yeah I'm Kuroo. This ball of energy was keeping me busy the whole match. And no, you said the same thing my own manager told me."

"Ah, hear that Owl? You're a ball of energy, who would have thought." I said teasing him. Bokuto hissed at me.

"WRONG mascot dumbass." Said Kuroo.

"Oh yeah? At least I don't have that ugly smirk on my face." He said back. And that was the start of our friendship. The three of us hung out before practices on the weekends and we started a group chat.

One weekend while we were hanging out in our jerseys we passed by Aoba Johsai.

The first years that we're trailing behind the older kids eyed us.

"Oh? two nameless teams. Hmm" said the bratty looking first year.

"Touro please don't stir up trouble with the local teams."

"What a twat." I said.

"Don't listen to them." Said Bokuto.

You're probably thinking how did we ever become friends with them..... well when he saw us at a official match he was playing he called out because he recognized us but was caught, and everyone thought we were friends supporting him so he had to keep up the persona. After a week or so of this he started smiling/laughing more so and Iwaizumi was getting along with Kuroo and Bokuto. Having him sure was helping the motherly part of me. Eventually Oikawa never left and we hung out every weekend and added them to the group chat. By that summer we were inseperable and practically spent everyday together. Though during the school year before that Bokuto and I were always talking. At first I was being picked on for always being with the "obnoxious" kid but I stood up for him once or twice. I may be shy with people I don't know but when I hear them dissing people who have accepted me I get mad. Now those people see me as who befriened the one that is laughed at and he was starting to be accepted into the class. At the last day of school before Summer break Bokuto and I made it to the front gates witha huge ground. When we made it to the front we realized it was Iwa, Oikawa and Kuroo. Oh no. Everyone was too curious about why three kids from other schools were standing at the gates.
