Chapter 1 - Meet Everyone

I check the time on my watch as I hurry through the busy streets of Seoul. I sigh in relief when I realize that I have enough time to get to work if I hurry

Ever since my mom moved us to Korea with my friend, it's been really cool. I got a job as a waitress, along with Kasidy and we share an apartment. My mom lives in the apartment across from us, because we are only sixteen but she is always on business trips.

I try to avoid bumping into people while walking really fast across the street to where the cafe is. I go to get changed into my uniform and clock in right before it turned 1:00. "Krista, as always right on time." one of my work friends, Julie says.

"I'll get to work, don't worry." I say as I head towards the first table I see.I serve the customers and get decent tips until I see a group of boys. "I'll take them." I say as I walk towards them.

"Hello, I'm Krista and I'm going to be your server today. Can I interest you in anything to drink?" I say while looking at the notepad. It's quiet for a while and I wonder why so I look up to find seven really attractive boys looking at me. "Do I have something on my face?" I ask, curious to why they're staring at me.

"No, sorry about that." One of the guys that had brown hair and a sweet smile said to me.

I took their orders and when I was done and they left, my best friend Kasidy rushed in and being the clumsy person she is, she bumped into the boy named Taehyung.

"Oww..." She mumbled as she landed on her butt which caused her blonde hair with red highlights falling out of her messy bun and her school jacket falling on the ground.

"I'm so sorry, here." Taehyung says while reaching out his hand towards her. She takes it after grabbing her jacket while turning red like a tomato. I laugh at her embarrassment and walk towards her as they leave.

"They're hot." Kasidy says as we head to the back to trade out shifts.

"Yeah, I guess they are."

"Hey, I found a flyer that says that Big Hit Entertainment wants a girl trainee for their new group BTS. You wanna try it?" I say while changing into my normal clothes: see above.

"Sure, I mean what's the harm?" Kas says while putting on her uniform.

"I have to go, bye." I say while heading out.

"Going to look up who they are?"

"Yep." I say while popping the "p" sound, and with that I leave. Kasidy laughs and mutters,

"No goodbye huh? Fine."

I open the door to the apartment that Kas and I share and plop down on the couch with my laptop. 'BTS huh? I wonder who they are?' I say while unlocking my laptop. I look up BTS members and what pops up... 'Wait a second, those boys that I served... they were BTS?!' I think as I drop my laptop and grab my phone to call Kasidy.

She doesn't pick up and I remember that she's still working. 'Well, I guess I have to wait for her.' I think bitterly. I stare at their faces, trying to remember who's who. When I finally remember I go to my room and change into some running clothes. 

'I guess I'll go for a run. That actually sounds like a good song title.' I think to myself. I run through the city for around an hour until my watch shows that it's 6:00, when Kasidy gets off work.

When I got home I heard yelling in the living room I opened the door to find Kasidy yelling at the TV. I saw it was a drama and her OTP in it fought and now she's upset.

"You okay?" I ask while grabbing a water from the fridge.

"No! You know what I'm done watching this for now!" She yells as she turns off the TV. "I saw you called me while I was working, what's up?" she asks, while wiping her eyes.

"You remember the guys at the cafe?" I ask before I take a drink of my water.

"Yeah, why?" She asks suddenly giving me a suspicious look.

"Well... um..." I say not quite sure how to tell her that she bumped into a member of BTS.

"Spit it out already." She says while grabbing water as well.

"Those guys, they're from BTS, they're IDOLS." I say turning away.

"You're kidding... please tell me I DID NOT make a fool of myself in front of idols." I nod quietly. She sits down and then, "God dammit why must I be so f**king clumsy?!"

"Kas, you'll live. It's not like you spilled stuff all over you as well. They probably won't remember that." I say trying to calm her down.

She takes some deep breaths and sighs. "I guess you're right. I'm gonna sleep, and when are the auditions?" Kas asks.

"Next week." I say, already thinking about what song I should choose to dance to.

"Okay, goodnight Kris." She says while heading towards her room.

"Goodnight Kas." I say back as I look outside our apartment window.
