I looked around after being balled up for about ten minutes. The animatronics were gone and the cameras showed they were in the dining room. 'Holy shit what's going on here?' I called Mike only to hear his voicemail. I then heard the tablet say something.

Tablet:" Warning, 50% power left in security office. Power saving strongly recommended."

I hesitantly opened the doors and looked right back at the camera. All 3 were back on stage and I let out a soft breath of relief.

Y/n:" Why didn't Mike tell me?!"

I slouched back into my chair and took a deep breath. After being paranoid for god knows how long, I looked at the clock.

Thank god. I calmed down a bit and gave Mike a call.

Mike:" Y/n, why are you calling me so late?"

Y/n:" Mike, the night mode these things have is dangerous, seriously I-"

Mike:" Night mode? When did I ever talk about a night mode?"

Y/n:" In the tape recorder, you said the animatronics have a night mode which is why I was hired."

Mike:" No, I hired you because sometimes kids stay overnight and it would be your job to watch them until their parents came back."

Y/n:" But there's a voice recording here that is clearly your voice, I'll play the tape right now."

I put the phone up to the recorder and pressed play. After it was done I heard him sigh on the other end.

Mike:" Look Y/n, that wasn't me. I'll explain tonight, just be careful when you leave, I have a suspicion you'll be followed."

Y/n:" Not exactly what I need to hear but thanks for the warning."

Mike:" DON'T SLEEP EITHER, GET SOME ENERGY DRINKS AND STAY AWAKE!"

Y/n:" Ok but, you better explain later."

Mike:" I will, don't worry, well, do worry."

Y/n:"I hope so..."

I hung up and heard the 6 o'clock bell. I left the building making sure to be cautious of my surroundings. I hopped on my bike, picked up some energy drinks and headed home.
