8: Forgiveness & More Problems

Sorry for not updating for a while!! I'm back suckers!!

Luke's POV:
Everytime I look out the window, I see somebody. Once I turn my head, they're gone. And it's been happening all week too! I was just getting ready to go to basketball practice for the school team with Lynn, we both saw a flash.
Luke: "What was that?"
Lynn: "Probably paparazzi, we're stars, right?"
Luke: "Heh, I guess so..."
Lincoln's POV:
I think I was a bit harsh on Luke... I mean, I have 11 siblings, he can't always have time for me. I'm a selfish jerk. I should make it up to him. I searched all around the house and he wasn't there.
Lincoln: "Hey Luna, you know where Luke is?"
Luna: "He went to basketball practice with Lynn brah."
Lincoln: "Oh..."
I invited Clyde over and we just talked until we heard a car beep, Luke was back.
Lincoln: "Hey Luke!!"
Luke: "Oh... hey."
Lincoln: "Look, I-I'm sorry for last week. It's just that I never got to spend so much time with you, I've always wanted a brother. I guess I'm just a selfish jerk. I mean, come on, there's 12 of us! I hope you forgive me."
Luke: "Don't worry bro, I always got your back."
Lincoln: "Wanna hang right now?"
Luke: "Sorry bro, I'm tired. Basketball tires you, Huh? Gonna get some rest."
Lincoln: "Okay!!!"

A few days later...
There was a knock on the door, and Mom answered it. It was... Luke's adoptive parents.
Rita: "Oh hey Martha!"
Martha: "Hello. We want Luke back. I hope he had a great time."
Rita: "About That... he's been having so much fun here, he really wants to stay with us forever."
John: "But we're his parents!"
Rita: "But we're his real parents! His BIRTH parents!"
Martha: "Sorry, I don't think you're getting him back anytime soon."
Lynn Sr.: "Fine Then! We shall settle this in court!"
John: "We have a deal! We're going to win for numerous reasons."
They slammed the door. Once they look around, they see all the kids on the stairs... they heard everything. Luke had a worried face...
