He shouted pulling Khushi closer to him through her forearms making her eyes widen along with Rehan, Maahi and the maids looking at them leaving their work. "Yes! I love you. I know I am f**king late to realize my own feelings but the truth is I have never breathed a moment of peace from the night you have walked away from my life. I was too stubborn to accept that a mere girl can do this to me that I never stopped to think about my feelings for you. But I just can't do it anymore I love you. I love you so much!" he whispered at the end as leaving her arms his hands cupped her cheeks, keeping his forehead on hers.

He felt Khushi's hands covering his on her cheeks and he looked down at her expectantly "Are you done?" she speaks looking into his eyes but Arnav was too emotionally lost to reply anything and this time not giving him time to react she pushed him out and closed the door on his shocked face.

 

She turned her back to the door still glued to it as she heard him knocking desperately again and again, calling her name. Finally the mask of being strong and unaffected slipped from her face as she cried bitterly sliding down on the floor. Rehan and Maahi ran to her side instantly to console her as they also heard Arnav shouting from outside "You can push me out from this door Khushi, you can try to push me away as much as you want but this time I am not stepping back, I will try till my last breath, I will try till the moment you start believing on me again. I will try till I make you believe that I really love you, in fact have always loved you but was a fool to not realize it."

 

 

Khushi cried more hiding her face in Maahi's arms who keeps consoling her and Rehan helped them to get up from the floor as they walked inside and settled on sofa's in living room Arnav's voice fading on another side. "I am Sorry Khushi! Please give me one chance to prove my love." Arnav whispered leaning his head on the giant doors and after few moments he stepped back still looking at those doors "I won't run away this time Khushi, I won't run away from my mistakes. I'll accept any punishment you want to give me but please at least react to me, don't treat me like a stranger." He thought as he drove away thinking about his next step.

Rehan comes with glass of water which Maahi made Khushi drink after she stopped crying bitterly but she was still sobbing silently. Maahi looked at Rehan helplessly who sighed and settled beside Khushi again "Look at me and stop crying." He speaks holding her from her forearms almost shaking her sternly and Khushi hiccupped looking at him with her now red eyes. "And you were telling you have moved on and forgotten whatever happened in your past?" Khushi looked away but he again made her look at him "Why are you crying like this Khush? You yourself said that past doesn't affect you anymore, you are happy now."
