Beep... Beep... Beep...
I woke up in a haze. Squinting for a bright light stunned me. "W-Where am I?" Looking around I couldn't help but notice the room was an off white. Almost entirely empty except for a chair and the bed I was sitting on. My head was pounding -
"You're awake?" This stranger wrapped her arms around me. Her eyes tearing up as a sign of relief. It seemed as though she couldn't have asked for more. Blonde golden hair, kept neatly in a bun and a cautious, thin smile shone on her face. She was old, aging finely with wrinkles gathering near her eyes and lips.
"Who are you?" I stammered. She didn't say anymore whilst she gently caressed my hand.
"Shhh. It'll be alright. Everything will be alright." I didn't see it but I began to feel hazy again. My mind was going nowhere as the room faded dark.
