Trust.
Sabik na sabik sina George at Emy habang naghihintay kami didto sa Hilongos Sea Port. I thought I'm going to be alone, thank goodness they're coming with me.
George decided to take up the same course what I want to have and Emy liked to be and Engineer so he's planning to take Civil Engineering but I doubt if we're on the same school.
Uncle Jam told me he won't be with me because he will took care of the talyer and his other business. His wife, Aunt Cherry will help her in managing. I guess I have to trust the talyer with them since they're the real owners.
I was sitting impatiently at the waiting area. In my front, there is a glass door and a television above us. May mga tindahan din sa likod. The stores are selling souveniers and goods which can be brought to the ship.
Naghihintay nalang kami sa pagdating ni Uncle. George is currently eating Sweet Corn Chips with this white v-neck shirt and black skinny jeans paired with black boots. While Emy is engrossed with his phone with his blue-purple shirt and dark faded jeans, he is also wearing brown boots.
Today is gloomy so I brought my jacket while wearing jumper beneath is my v-neck white shirt and sneakers so I would be comfortable while traveling.
I don't like the sea too much. I love what it gives me but when riding the ship, it will only give me dizziness. I just hope that this trip will turn out good.
"Hay! Sa wakas at pupunta na tayo sa Cebu! Yipiee excited na ako, Sol!" George is grinning like an idiot and eating her sweetcorn chips beside me while I was paying attention to the tv.
I smirk, "Palibhasa kasi first time mo. Don't worry, I'll tour you around. Its been ages since I went there."
"'Dun ka ba galing, Sol?" This time its Emy, still looking at his phone and typing something I dont know what.
"Apparently, yes. But its been four years. Pumunta pa ako sa Samar bago kami napadpad didto."
He shrugged. Wala narin akong masagot. Nakakabagot na kasi ang paghihintay namin ni Uncle. Kani-kanina lang niya kami pinaghintay dito.
I missed Cebu. Doon ako lumaki with my Mom. Hindi ko 'rin alam saan siya ngayon. I just knew that my parents are separated and I left with my dad since I'm ten years old.
Dad's been a good father. He work so hard at the morning and I'm studying the whole day. Even at night, he would stay up late so he could do some errands. I just really don't what it is.
Aside from my dad, I have my aunt. She is my dad's sister. His twin doesn't have a husband. Ewan ko ba kung bakit. I just have a hunch na ayaw ni Papa na may boyfriend si Auntie. She's in the legal age yet he's overprotective with his sister.
My grandparents are also dead from the both sides. My father told me that his parents are living in Leyte before, which is the reason why he chose me to live here with his brother.
Good thing, pinalaki ako ng maayos. Walang sabit, walang kulang.
My first two weeks in that place was chaos. I wanted to have a decent job because I'm living with him and he will be the paying my tuition. So I offered a helping hand, which I regretted a week after.
"Sigurado ka ba talaga't magtatrabaho ka, Solas? Baka mapatay ako ni kuya." He asked me once.
Maraming mga basagulero sa lugar dahil ang negosyo ni uncle noon ay isang mini bar which he named, J's Kiosko. Since then, I told him na ayoko doon so he transferred me to his J's Talyer.
I like it more there. Ayoko sa ingay ng Kiosko and I like the noise of construction and I learned from it. His house is few blocks away only and I would only walk from the talyer to his house.
