As they continued down the path of danger were all their lives were at high risk stood a haphazardly hung bridge.
Apple had calmed down at that point and was starting to think clearly again – but this undoubtedly put her off her good mood that she had, had.
"Seriously?! I mean really do we have to cross this bridge and must every adventure have one of these," Apple screamed.
"I'll go first," Briar offered.
"Really?" The rest of them said all secretly revealed.
"Sure. We only live once upon a time right?!"  She answered "This will be a piece of cake,"
Briar placed her foot on the first tile it seemed to hold itself quite well so she continued moving after only about seven wooden planks were left Briar's foot slid between a cracked board she froze. This in particular frightened the other girls.
"What's wrong Briar?" Apple said sucking in her breath sure she didn't want to hear the answer.
"You guys should go on without me in case I don't make it," Briar answered.
"Oh My Grimm! Someone has to help her!" Apple said turning to Cedar and Maddie but they both looked terrified.
The ropes holding Briar up snapped. They all screamed especially Apple. But before you could say bibiti bobbity boo a turquoise coloured fairy zoomed towards Briar who had already made it half way down the drop as she sailed lower and lower the fairy flew faster and fast until it was all a rapid blur.
All the girls had covered their eyes by now, but then Briar's familiar voice had caused them to uncover their hands.
"Thanks Faybelle. You're wicked,"
"Well I only did it so you could hurry up and save the day from these Queens or else it will be harder for us dark fairies to take over when I reach the age," Faybelle replied still hovering above the ground carrying Briar in her arms.
"Thanks all the same," Briar replied cheerily  just as Faybelle dropped her on the ground.
"You're okay!" Apple said hugging her friend tight.
"You didn't think you could get rid of me that fast did you?" She replied.
"Enough with this sappy stuff I'll get you across,"
"With the help of me," Maddie said.
"You're flying," Apple remarked breathing hard.
"Of course I am," she said picking Apple up and flying over to the side. Just as Faybelle came over with Briar and Cedar (Being as light as hollow wood she was easy to carry).
"How can you fly it's impossible," Apple continued pressing the question her.
"Well I didn't know it was impossible so I could do it but know that you said that I probably not be able to do it again," Maddie said as if it was as simple as one plus one is two.
"Right," Apple said deciding not to over think it she was the daughter of the Mad Hatter ever after all.
