Lance's POV

Whew! Glad I was able to get onto the holorail in time. I don't wanna get caught and sold to Malcolm by my stuck-up, arrogant, snobby parents that think of me as a living product they can sell to anyone. I'd kinda like to be a knight, but my main focus is acting and helping the poor and going out of your way to save people. That's what Monstrox did for me. Just because I'm rich doesn't mean I wanna be. You can never be yourself! Ugh! Just then, I heard quiet singing.

"If you're lost out where the lights are blinding, caught and all the stars are hiding, that's where something wild calls you home, home," A girl wearing navy jeans, a tan button shirt, and light brown cowboy boots with a beige cowboy hat on her head, tilted to cover her bronze braid of hair and cobalt blue eyes sang from two seats behind me. I climbed onto the back of the chair and tossed her a package of small mints. She caught it with ease.

"Attention all passengers, final stop: Knights' Academy!" The conductor's voice shouted. "Please leave no personal belongings of yours to prevent theft and do be careful when exiting the train." I grinned. Knights' Academy! We're here! When we stopped, I walked out the doors, but saw another student trip. I walked over to him and helped her up.

"Thanks," He replied. He was wearing the freshman uniform with fiery orange hair and amber eyes. I flashed a smile at him.

"Glad to help." I replied. Just then, I heard a whoop behind me. Turning around, I saw the girl from earlier sliding down the rails for the steps and landing on her feet, her tattered suitcase landing with a clunk. She popped out the handle and dragged it easily with one hand inside the revolving doors. I dragged my suitcase inside also, having made sure before I left Monstrox hadn't dropped a weapon in there by accident. When I walked inside, I awed.
